Pure luck is the best way to descripe the current situation. I will handle it like Ohme: buy commanders I really want and wait for the others. Problem: The most thing I hate is an uncomplete game. So I must buy the other commanders sooner or later when I've much luck as I already have. But I was realy glad when I saw three drops after a very nice game. Maybe sometimes the originally conceived system works. Buying an alpha key? I think that's illegal. I got Lightning War Doctrine in the last month... made me happy. Then I got some M8 scout car bulletins, but I don't have the commander. LOL. In: News

Thread: How to deal with this Ostheer strat?20 Jul 2014, 22:48 PM Hey, I'd recommend in this situation getting a second RE. It would be good because: 1) Absorbs sniper rounds. Every death of a RE entity saves you 8 mp versus a rifleman. 2) Distracts MG. MGs in buildings can be tricky to micro, with the time it takes to switch windows and whatnot. You could potentially have a riflemen squad slip past it while your REs retreat to your major/base. 3) Build stuff. On Kholodny, tank traps by the south muni make any armored attacks in the south easier to stop and riskier for him (due to a longer vehicle retreat path). Also, early game, getting a fighting position and putting an RE in it is good, especially if it is in range of the center buildings. It can lob decent grenades over hedges as well. Thread: Jaeger Infantry Recon build against U.S.?20 Jul 2014, 21:34 PM Is this a thing? I've encountered twice (first time on my previous replay from yesterday, 19 July) and managed to beat it. This game makes a marvelous turn-around for me (I was practically base-pinned). Unfortunately, in both cases, the Jaeger Light Infantry simply fail in the late game, especially to HE rounds from my Ronsons. :') Enjoy the carnage!! My pack howitzers did work... until they got knocked out by the 105mm artillery barrage, which was brutal and excessive. In: Replays
Thread: You Heard The Captain! - US Forces Guide20 Jul 2014, 19:27 PM I like the guide; the Battalion Command info was very helpful... it can be a hard decision with the medium armor. The only issue with going airborne 1: no AT mines and 2: M1919 .30cal is limited only to Paratrooper squads. I have recently gone to the infantry doctrine... 3 CPs for M1919s (same as paratroopers) and rifles and REs can equip M1919s. I've beat Obersoldaten with M1919s in equal cover (with vetted rifles, of course). The cheap mines that the infantry doctrine provide are good when in clusters. It helps mid and late game against vehicle flanks; enough of them damage engines (not sure how many) and can save a very low health vehicle from being destroyed. Of course, the M20 utility car has a better mine ability for 60 mu, but that requires 70 fuel (50 for LT). The best thing about airborne is the rocket strafe, however, a OKW flak truck in the middle of the map can easily shoot down the P47... Be careful. In: Guides
Thread: GG on Langreskaya19 Jul 2014, 17:54 PM After a few minutes into the game, the Jaeger Light Infantry Recon started popping out of buildings behind the frontlines. Naturally, this really pissed me off, so I got a Stuart tank. The .30 cal machine guns really helped my rifles out... and I ended up just making Shermans. It really was a good game with impressive micro. Should be a fun watch. In: Replays
Thread: Brutality on the Russian Steppe18 Jul 2014, 21:14 PM I know it's a 4v4 game, but it was still amazing. The middle fuel was contested the whole match and was a slugfest. I held the mid VP with some good micro throughout the game. Late game there were lots of Tiger, Elefants, and Königstigers, but they were brought down by intelligent coordination! The best part of the game... was that we had an AI after about ten minutes, yet still won Definitely worth a watch despite its longevity. In: Replays

Thread: T4: What to build?10 Jul 2014, 04:44 AM ^^thanks. It's all stuff I know already, it's just hard to think and micro at the same time... I just played another game like the one above on Semoskiy Winter. It lasted an hour and four minutes. I got him down to 13 VPs. I couldn't deal with a double panther and he just spammed Falshirmjagers when his infantry died. I was fighting weapon teams and Falls, essentially. Makes me kinda sad, you know? I went armor and... I had two M10s at one point. (yay). All the American armor dies due to the lack of protection and I'm not used to it. I miss Wehr's tanks. In: US Forces Strategies
Thread: T4: What to build?10 Jul 2014, 02:09 AM I played a long, 40-50 minute 1v1 earlier today, and lost the late game. I played the early game well and harassed the OKW med truck until he put up a flak truck next to it... I lost in the late game due to the enemy's armor (and their 75 mm infantry gun). A few times, I almost killed the enemy's panther, but it survived the whole game. I made four shermans and lost all of them; I never had more than one out at a time (due to the fuel rate and the frequency of loss... ) but I had a Jackson live until the destruction of my army. I had a Priest, but it hardly did any damage (efficiency was only 106%). My question is, in the given situation (and/or in general) what armor in T4 is the best to get? Should I have purchased the M8A1 motor carriage instead of another sherman and - hopefully - kept it alive?
