Even considering worse veterancy bonuses for rifles (+30% vs +40% on grens), at long range they have ~33% more DPS in 2 M1919 vs 1 LMG42 situation. But maybe I'm missing something. I believe he meant BARs. People need to be more specific as both, M1919 and BARs are brownings. In: COH2 Balance

Must be partly because Rifles: -do not focus all that DPS on a single model -have cost dispersed over 2 resources and is the most expensive infantry upgrade in game -can't shoot on the move -don't have bonus acc vs retreating units -doesn't have insanse scaling -doesn't have insane rec acc modifier out of the gate -can't perma sprint, self regen and suppress regardless of stance with vet. -need to go for single specific doctrine for LMGs -still have LESS dps then pre LMG nerf obers LMGs will always be perceived as OP as long as they won't have any meaningful disadvantage and will be effective at long range. But the days of charging frontally and crawling into range sitting there while other unit flanks is over,if u do that u will lose the squad.Smoke still works well. Perhaps you have missed the change from some time ago, making pios a spotting squad. Sorry, but you have absolutely no excuse this patch. If you'll be losing, its because you suck so much. @Napalm While we're back to 1st month HMG suppression, at least it doesn't have insta traverse like it used to. How many bars/zookas you usually see when there is "spam" of whooping TWO P-47 that were saved for for the whole game? Its not like USF have magical button to press to convert abundance of fuel they have in late game for munis. In: COH2 Balance

The Stug will have to survive tank combat without the advantage of tank destroyer range. They never vetted fast off infantry. It was always all about hitting armor. In: Lobby

And you'll find they give you a loss quicker than trying to tech to t4 units. So not that quickly after all. And I am playing within top 500 bracket so... top 200 is where the real steps start.
