Cool, except they are not. There is nothing that volkshrecks do that puppchen/puma/JP4 wouldn't do. Same for grens and MG42s and snipers. Unless what you want to do is your fav and only playstyle mr.Blobberino. I can say as well that "demos are absolutely necessary for sov to fight late game superior axis inf without the need to spam elite infantry". In: COH2 Balance

Also god forbid relic doesn't want premium content to be handed out by modders for free to everyone and made some rules for it. Except its not coh1 brits turtling. Its MG42 creep, which is proven to be a working design since release of vcoh, because it was exactly the same there. With MG positioning you still can dictate the flow of battle and force opponents to adapt with counters. You just can't be aggressive too much or you'll overextend and get flanked. This concept works for more then 7 years now and no one complained. In: COH2 Balance

And there I was thinking it was because T34/76 awesomeness and amazing soviet infantry scaling into late game coupled with stock mortar being just as good as ost mortar. But you're right, it was definitely just because 34/85 and absolutely nothing else being a factor, especially not the part where soviet stock units outside of katy, occasionally SU-85, ZiS-3 and snipers were unplayable. Or, you could wait one and a half minute and counter it with a 8 minute SU76. And you can counter 7 minute quad with 5 minute puma. Where is the problem again? OKW will have to use puppchens or pumas and ost will have to get PaK 3 minutes earlier. World is doomed. DOOMED I say. Stop thinking current rush to heavy/medium meta people. AAHT doesn't cost exactly no fuel and no muni and building it won't really speed up that first T34. Spending fuel to counter fuel, who would have ever go for this outrage?
