And used effectivly at range, the problem is is it misses half the time. Like any other vehicle on the move, used at maxed range. I rather doubt you stop for a shot. In: COH2 Balance

I mean its only fair. Why should one artillery unit be gimped but not the other? Sure it doesn't have suppression, but its also 1/3rd cheaper and comes one tier earlier. Maybe remove mortar autofire and remove the cool down from the barrage even if you stop the barrage. Mortars don't have cone of fire like MGs, ATGs and howis. Mortars also aren't one of the most overpowered unit in game at the moment. Why should one get nerfed while other not? Because one is gardening overpowered beyond belief while other is fine. Your zealous defense of this unit only proves how much you rely on single overpowered unit to win. In: COH2 Gameplay

For example IS2 costs 640 manpower to call in. Make it cost 1000 manpower without tiers3/4 unlocked, 800 manpower with just tier3 unlocked, 640 or less with tiers 3+4 unlocked. Or something like that. That would diminish the economic advantage of waiting out for the call ins, and would reward players for teching up.
