Thread: How to update a map in the workshop? 16 Jan 2014, 21:29 PM How to update a map in the workshop? I updated my map Hillowsky in the world builder and now want to update it in the workshop. The COH2 in-game workshop shows both files. Even so I named the new one exactly as the old. Now how do I update without loosing subscribers? The only way I see, is to delete the old one and then publish the new one. Got any ideas? Thanks in advance. Jonas In: Mapping Discussion
Thread: Hi! New Mapper here!12 Jan 2014, 21:24 PM Hey Guys, long time COH fan here. I just got my first COH2 Map done, so far I just created for COH1. It's called Hillowsky, for its two hill that lead to each players fuel and cut-off points. Check it out here:http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=217299103 I tried to create interesting cut-off points, my favourite feature of map making. There is also a neutral Victory Point in the center, surrounded by houses, which makes for interesting line of sight. I created other details all over the map for ambushes. Could you give me the exact name of a texture from which you know it works? Second: The game cannot be found by browsing or searching the workshop - any idea what is the problem? Can't a fitting surrounding map (terrain properties or what is that called) and having trouble to produce negative cover on roads. Alright to play anyway, at least vs AI. Did you try it? Thread: New Map: 2-2 Hillowsky6 Jan 2014, 22:55 PM Hi Guys, please check out my new map Hillowsky, freshly added to the workshop. It's a 2-2 mp map with one fierce and one minor cut off point. Apart from the ressources there is one victory point in the center deciding about victory. Hope you enjoy it! Played nicely with the AI so far.
