Anyhoo, I welcome my next set of commanders, and any other DLC they've got lined up for 2014 for that matter. I admit when I first started playing the beta and then learned of the DLC commanders coming I was like "why" but once the game came out and I started getting into the nuances of the individual commanders more, no they're not P2W like the "all DLC is a scam and should be included in the base game forever" whiners insist, they're simply a different way of playing the game, they're fun little diversions, and admittedly I now own most of them, along with all the ToW DLC's, and have not regretted these purchases because I've gotten my money's worth so far. Once new COH2 DLC's stop delivering and stop giving me my money's worth I'll stop buying. ANd remember kids, optional content is optional. In: Lobby

Now its just free points for enemy Soviet starter-infantry, and you pretty much never see it built in any pub game. I realize this unit is small potatoes in the grand meta scheme, but if they're bothering to include a unit in the game then it should be viable. If not remove it. In: COH2 Balance

There are these things called mines in the game. Soviet faction has the cheapest ones. Coincidence? Lay some down, build a ZiS3 or two, use the combined Soviet arms at your disposal. Tiger Ace makin' u mad? Spam a T34 or two and ram the S.O.B. and GG. Now if you'll excuse me, I won't be able to take any more "Germans are OP" posts seriously until I at least stop seeing all the biggest killstreaks on the ladders being Soviets instead of Germans. The IS2 deflected hit after hit after hit. I think calling the Ace was a major factor in Hans losing the game tbh. This. I know people cry like TA is invincible god tank but seriously, get a grip. The mistake was not anticipating the possibility of the TA. Its a high-risk, high reward unit - and its only one unit, it can't be everywhere on the map at once. And it shuts down all resource gen for 10 minutes, so if the TA gets lost to a coordinated double-ram, mines, a couple AT guns placed off route etc, then the krauts are screwed. It. Is. Not. Invincible. The unit is still new so people haven't learned to play smarter and adapt to it yet. That said, attacking people with silly putdowns "no talent clown" etc will get you nowhere and makes you look immature. In: Replays
