I think if you do a compensation to allow teching, you end up at the same place or worse. If pop on a .50 is raised by 1 and you get 2 or 3, then your suffering 3 pop for 1 officer. There has to be some better solution. I don't know the pop on cpt and lt, I figure they should be same as riflemen or maybe less, because they don't get at nades (captain does have a useful supervision though). Major however is no deserving of 5 pop. When i'm 2 pop short of another sherman or to get something else I need, I look at that fool hogging up the pop need, sitting around smoking in front of the base when I said no smoking. |
Listen Vaz, you never play Axis, you have no right to comment on axis balance and you certainly have no right to speak to another forum member as if he's an idiot when you have no idea what you're talking about.
this is just a trollpost to be lol'd at and then ignored.
Learn to communicate better, this is terrible. "omg lol what dafuq you fool, post replays, lol" - this is not the language of someone with something useful to say. Stop posting until you actually open your mind and play axis.
My player card is there for people to see, I have played axis many times and been quite successful. More successful than I have been with allies. I have yet to start playing OKW. Sierra is to be treated as a troll and I could honestly care less to communicate to trolls in the way you see fit. |
you should laugh, it's all baseless dribble with nothing and no one to back him up. Provide a replay Sierra. I don't care that you uninstalled the game, your playback folder is still there with your replays. Upload your temp.rec or no one is going to take you serious. You can come up with all the reasons you want about how you hate german tools or how they have weaknesses, it does not change their potential. |
LOL
You are truly in another reality. I can't take you serious man, can you provide some replays and references? What your saying here is almost all completely the opposite of what I observe in games. The exception being volks vet0 they die to anything(perfectly fine, they are the cheapest base infantry, less than cons). The other exception is panzerIV J sucks, it does suck.
Provide some replays with time references or as far as I'm concerned this is just a trollpost to be lol'd at and then ignored. Seems to me like your playing really badly and ignoring fundamental principles of coh then complaining about being a career punching bag. I know there is some people that I stomp that would say the same things you are saying. Truth is, they just played very badly and it's not about the units they used, any units of any faction under their command would fail. |
well cruzz clarified my questions and it sounds good to me. No getting away scott free. If I understand right, no change to any 60mu mines. This would pretty much just affect Soviet and OKW. |
Sierra I know your a career troll, but I'm going to humor you anyways.
There is a mechanic within coh that is fundamental to all ballistics. It involves scatter values to rng the path the projectile will take and the size of the target.
AT gun vs kubel: The at gun misses frequently. You say light vehicles have paper armor well the kubel is about as light as it gets, but it's impossible to hit and it gets harder the closer it is to maximum range.
JT vs light vehicles: JT wtfpwns light vehicles in violation of the principle above. I kind of see it as trying to hit a tiny nail with a big heavy hammer instead of using a smaller light hammer. This is supposed to be why it sucks vs infantry too, infantry target size is very small and jT should have no or very little splash. The value is too low currently, because it should be missing light vehicles much more than it does. It should rarely miss mediums. It should never miss a heavy.
The next thing you say, Germans have nothing that comes close to wiping infantry squad instantly? This is how I know 100% your trolling. Many German tools do this. Mortars, rifle grenades, bundled grenades, PanzerIV(w/pintle), sturmpanzerIV, panzerwerfer, Tiger, flakht(beta version), stuka, King Tiger, and the best in the game STURMTIGER!

I haven't looked at the crit stats, but I know that I've never seen any tank get a destroyed engine from a tm-35. It's possible I'm paying more attention to destroying it any cost and not checking it though. With a 33% chance I should have encountered it already. |
I like the different attacks at different ranges idea, but JT needs to stop shooting through everything. The guy people try to lean on in reality shot through a house, not a boulder or a hill. One of this games main features is true sight and JT shooting through objects is in direct violation of true sight principles. That's my way of saying it's not good for gameplay either. I would really like to hear Relics position on this, if they truly intend for it to do this or if it's a bug. |
Not that you didn't explain what you were saying in an understandable manner, but the wording you used seems to leave some other possibilities open.
M20 mines: they don't do engine damage. They do a ton of health damage and immobilize. Does that fit into the category of destroyed engine(because it's worse, technically).
I feel like some of this I'm in agreement with, but I feel like point 2 needs to be elaborated on. Like what exactly is supposed to happen when a tank runs over a mine now? It just gets some health damage and keeps on going with no crit? Does every mine do regular engine?
I divide the mines in my mind into 3 categories (could be 2). tm-35 and schu-mines are very similar and seems to do the same crit engine damage. m20 mines and teller mines(reigels too, I guess, really don't understand the point of them) might as well both cause immobilization, since you hardly go anywhere with destroyed engine.
If it's running over mines and not getting a crit, I don't really support it, unless the chance is really small. This has been foundational since day1 coh1. You run over a trap, you get screwed over. I really don't even like the little mines some USF infantry can place. You can place 30 mu worth, have something run over it, and do less damage and no crit compared to a tm-35. It sounds like bringing that to the other mines and that would really suck to me. |
AOE changes would actually work. The Far damage can be reduced such that fringe hits won't fully kill infantry. |
