Thread: More 4v4 maps!24 Nov 2014, 11:30 AM I don't really care where the maps come from, all I know is that I have more than 600 hours played and less than 1% of that is from singleplayer and more than 50% of that is from 4v4. It doesn't matter how good Ardennes Assault was, nobody is going to play that for 600 hours so Relic, go figure! In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: More 4v4 maps!24 Nov 2014, 09:04 AM Hi there. I read somewhere that 4v4 is the most common gameplay mode however I find it very frustrating that we only have 5 maps to play on. There are so many new and old maps that you could bring back, seriously, I'd love to see Montargis Region or Hochwald Gap for example. I don't really get why Relic spent so much time and effort on a singleplayer campaign when they could have spent their money on maps and other stuff to improve multiplayer. I didn't buy Ardennes Assault and I will never do. But i'd buy an expansion that provided new maps and stuff in a heartbeat. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: KV-2?15 Nov 2013, 23:07 PM Short and sweet: People are whining like hell about the Tiger Ace. But what about the KV-2? It tears through 2 vetted Panthers like they were clown cars. It's not even enjoyable anymore. What it does to infantry isn't even worth mentioning because no infantry so far has seen a KV-2 and lived to tell the tale. It's completely insane. Other than that.. Vetted units feel way too weak now. They die like flies. This patch changed alot.. way too much if you ask me. In: COH2 Balance

Why do you feel that you need a mindless no skill unit that can take out an mg42? If the reinforcement cost were reduced a bit I really think they would be fine. I can think of a plethora of maps where you can position a german MG in such a way that it's impossible to flank it. I'm sure you can too. Nuff said. In: COH2 Gameplay

No infantry unit should be immune to suppression. It just doesn't make sense. If you think about it for a while you should come to the conclusion that it wouldn't be so extremely unbalanced as people tend to think. Why? Well first of all, standing infantry takes incredible damage from mgs. Rushing straight forward into an mg would result in severe damage to the unit. Second, all units should have a counter unit, I don't see why the penal squad couldn't be balanced in such a way that it could become the hard counter to mgs from the The Special Rifle Command building.
