i really cant see anything better about priest except the commander's mining ability.
640hp calliope means you can move it up to frontline right after you push the enemy away and barrage okw base nice and close... and do more damage than priest.

I fail to see how you can get your MP back, what is spend is lost. At equal ressource generation, youll have 1 less squad than your opponent. I find that huge. Makes you bleed and use that FRP more than you want to. The very few times i make the upgrade on a okw truck, i dont want to use it, it is a security net. I prefer retreat-walking and have an additional volkgrenadier.
To be fair, i d'ilke to see at least five replays where there was a FRP, it was uncounterable, uncoutered and was the obvious reason of the unevitable victory (no stuka army-whipe involved equal tactics and talent).

it is not one squad less because a "squad" or "unit" cost popcap. So Conscript is 240mp + 6 popcap.
this is one of the problems with FRP and caches alike. 30sec - 2min off the retreat time or guaranteed resource income is a very delicate thing to put a price on, therefore hard to balance. this is especially true if you try to balance it with one time payment as in 300mp for okw and 200mp for brits. major technically have popcap but its like a free thing for teching.
I'd say give it cooldown. With constant sight it is a bit broken.
But give it cooldown like "scanning for 20secs" and then you need to wait XX secs to use it again.
1) a munition cost for each usage of a FRP, that way they are not gone, but actually have a true "cost", because right now, its hella cheap for what it does, and teh benefit it gives.
2) pushing it down the tech tree
3) re-buying it after usage, MP bleep for the convenience.
1. SO USF should not have that advantage of major frp because their tanks are so stronk right?
2. or brits that have the to pay 450 mp effectivly for that and are weakest in early game and should then still have long ways through the whole game ? Please guys, please. Okw should not have it because a soviet can punish it easy with katyusha, calliope, or just can get destroyed and then a 650 40 fuel investment is just gone. :< sure let's make everyone retreat to base and wait for the game to be ruined.

But you as a confirmed allies fanboi should know how punishing that can be, if you just basepin him with maxims and one zis gun takes that hq out, or you can make him bleed more manpower so you have superior infantry very quick. I don't get the fuzz about it, i think all FRP are fine. It's the game, #adapt.

3. major? haven't you notice how he gives USF non-doc recon ability? single pass might as well because loitering gets shot down after 1 second post 10 min mark in 3v3+.
yes, me and my friends brit without FRP early-mid game, mostly due to need of manpower somewhere else. you should try it. it feels like it is the way the game was meant to be played. hard-retreat should = punished, not oh well, be back in a jiffy.
