Where is USF air superiority?
Axis have heavy tanks and elite infantry, Soviets have "many", ehm, decent heavy tanks, swarm medium tanks and many infantry. USF in war have untrained infantry, poor tanks, but absolut air dominance and strong artilery. Firs two have in game, but why USF in game dont have air attacks? Only one commander have P-47 AT strike (realy strong) and second commander have recon aircraft. Major can call reacon also, but other sides have much more air strikes and bombs attack, then USF. Why?

Blob itself is enemy all of us, who likes tactics. Ballance is second problem.

If received accuracy is too punishing then increasing AOE suppression seems like a good middle ground. It wouldn't change the way MGs perform against properly flanking units. But it would be easier to cost them time for blobbing which is important now that 2 factions have forward retreat.
2 side dont have MG from start. If you count kubel, one. Better way is accuracy and recieved accuracy penalty for blob. |
By team games you mean 4v4?
Was it ever different there?
In 1v1 and 2v2 you can outcap enemy. In larger game both side cap in 2 minutes all map and then is it about blobs war. |
In team games is it now about blobs war. No strategy, no brain, no skill. Simply keep your blob alive. Relic dont like strategy game?
In CoH1 was simply debuff, if you keep soldiers in blob (recieved accuracy). And it is logical, more soldiers in one place = more targets.

Because OKW struggle early game? isn't it obvious that they have to do anything they can to delay so they can survive until the late mid game?
OKW have problem only with MG spam and fast medium tanks. In team games have OKW very strong game with kubels and strumpios..

I play USF in team games and Sherman is useless versus armors. Shit as was in real. Only E8 and Jacsksons can penetrate german armors.
Only variant is Sherman versus infantry and AT gun versus armors. |
