Thread: @ Relic - please take a look at panther4 Aug 2013, 05:53 AM The SU-85 already has a horribly slow turn speed, the reverse speed could be reduced, but honestly the SU-85 seems like its about in the right spot. The panther, while expensive, absolutely wrecks an SU-85 if microed properly. You don't even have to use blitzkrieg to circle strafe it. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: July 30th Patch3 Aug 2013, 16:12 PM Maybe i'm just terrible with the Soviets but I feel like they are in a pretty rough spot atm. I still have a problem with strafe pinning me in my base sector and killing my snipers after forcing a retreat. That along with the fact that the soviet early game window of opportunity seems extremely small. If you don't push the Germans off of the fuel early game and they get to t3 its pretty tough to come back from. I also feel like the heavy snow needs to be removed from the center of pirypat to give the ruskies more flanking routes to deal with bunkers and MG spam. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Help on minsk!2 Aug 2013, 21:01 PM Hey guys, just played a really fun but frustrating 1v1 on The Pocket and I was holding my own until my opponent busted out an elephant. I couldn't seem to counter. Late in the game I got a ram off but at that point I had been holding out at <100 points for about 10 minutes. I tried to stretch the map around the middle and hold the outside vps, but I just couldn't keep it together. Thread: Extremely Predictable Endgame2 Aug 2013, 15:50 PM I think some of the lack of variety just has to deal with the weak soviet T3, and the extremely strong, all encompassing German T3. I don't think I have ever skipped T3 as the Germans, and there really isn't much point in delaying the SU-85 when it is the only tank that can reliably deal with a P4.
