Maxim imo need not a performance but harder spammable change, maybe slight price increase(260mp?), and/or a bit longer produce time(+10-15sec?) I think would be good the support teams(not the RUS only, all) can't capping points thing too, need testing...
The long range combat is good for me, i dont want win skirmish with frontal assaults on open terrain with SMG-s blob(PG, Ass Gren, ST, thompsons Para) vs rifles-carbines-lmg behind cover, simply NOT. The long range inf allways need use his cover, keep the range, so vulnerable the smoke grenades, smoke mortar/tank/arty-barrage while CQC specialist approach them. The LOS blocker/True sight system help the CQC units too. All Arty hurt better the immobile/less mobile long range infanry too. IF someone use his ASS gren/Shock Troops without Sprint/Smoke gren/True sight catch up, deserved the loss.
Only problem here with LMG is the critical mass/and FoTm damage. Rifle need 1 lmg slot, not 2, 2. is need for dedicated bazooka, and problem solved. Ober have über lmg yes, but this type inf is 400mp, with 50mp rfc, and late/end tier unit, who has ZERO chance vs vehicles. All Lmg need to be a FOTM accuracy decrease, and fast moving - LMG death ball, who can wipe in the reatreated units, no more.
Now FOTM accuracy multiplier on US lmg 1919 0.25, on BAR is 0.6, on Obers Lmg34 is 0.75. This numbers are the problem, not the normal standing dps... |
Aerohank, yes, Sturmtiger have a invisible vet0 skill, the enemy Blobber player morale broken  . After all, vs a not noob, not every inf units together moving player, Sturmtiger need 100+ inf kill for vet5, and it is i feel to much. |
Brachiaraidos, i see there 2 different problems. 1. Some OKW unit NEVER reach his maximum vet level, so vet 5 is only a hypothethical-fancy not a real thing. 2. What you say, is seems to me broken too. Command Panther IF can reach lv.5, a OP unit. Not himself, but his aura. With a ally on elite OST doc(buyable vet), this seems to me some kind of trolling... |
I think Luchs durability is ok, with 400 hp, and his agility, but the vet gain is still to slow for it...
Not only for Luchs, but IE.18, Kubel, Sturmtiger, etc. NEVER reach the maximum lv.5 in a close - high level AND long (40+min)1v1 game.
Unit preservation is simply not enough for this mission, you need for this a noob enemy team, in a 4v4 game with big fat blobs, and maybe, MAYBE you can get vet 5 after a hour intense game for a IE 18, Luchs or a Sturmtiger. |
Yeah, i never see some OKW unit with vet5... On Paper, 5 level veterancy, with some lv.3+ skill vs common 3 level with lv. 1 skill , a trade for 66% fuel income, vs common 100% i think. So i think with good unit preservation, OKW need/deserved his ALL unit 3+ veterancy level for late game. |
I have 2 (duplicate) - 5% muni cost bulletin on Ost HT flamer upgrade(originally 120 muni), with use of both, ingame HT flamer upgrade reduces to 108 muni. Stacked. |
Yes, Sniper is the unit, what need hard cap, 2+ Sniper in SU side --> 1 Volley from 50 range, can force retreat, or kill full squad. That is not problem, IF you can counter this BS, but in under mid game, AT naded Conscript(T0 tech), or doctrinal 1 Cp(ZERO tech, 2.30 time mark) Guards can protect vs everything except mortar-arty luck shoot... Later SU85, Guards, At naded Conscript Sniper spam is the problem... Hard cap would be fine on Sniper, maybe both side... |
Not the Rus Sniper team the real problem, the real problem is nothing effective counter in WM side, for the Rus sniper team + AT naded screening Conscript/Button capable Guards/in late game Su85+Sniper spam combo... Scout Car is nothing now, German Sniper is designed NOT to counter the RUS sniper team  ... |
