Thread: Panzer 4 needs a rework14 Sep 2015, 19:47 PM What's wrong with the M4 having the same pen. It's only 10 fuel less and has 20 less armor and needs to switch rounds to be effective. It needed the increased pen so it could actually participate in armor vs armor battles instead of running away at the first sight of a P4. P4 is still the better tank. Thread: Double ISG/Pack Howie12 Sep 2015, 17:14 PM Dual pack howis ain't cheap. In my experience two pack howis usually means they don't have an AT gun, so you should be able to roll over them with some armor. In: COH2 Balance

At some point they should need to get heavier AT like the SU-85. They should reduce the pen so that it can penetrate the P4 somewhat reliably, but struggle with Panthers and Tigers. It needs to be good vs mediums so soviets can go T1 and not get completely rolled over if a P4 comes out early. In: COH2 Balance

I must be out of the loop, because I'm not even sure what you're talking about when you say non-doctrinal units got nerfed becasue of mysterious new doctrines. Generally the buff to MGs, sniper buffs, and wharmacht teching getting cheaper. I'm talking about a few patches ago before brits when USF manpower bleed got bad. And I was referring to OP when he suggested nerfing USF early game because they were getting a doctrine with Pershing. In: COH2 Balance

Both were ultimately outdated early war infantry tanks with similar guns and armor. While the KV1 is cheaper, the two tanks aren't even in the same realm of survivability. I'd like to see it get a fuel increase and become a real single-call in heavy to make the Church, particularly considering how alike the vehicles were. Plus now that the B4 lost both precision strike and the majority of it's far radius aoe damage, it'd complete the commander a bit more. Doubt it. KV-1 is a mid-game heavy and churchill is a late game heavy. Basically KV-1 is supposed to be on the level of T-34s, P4s, and shermans but more of a damage soak while the churchill is more like the Tiger or IS-2 that happens to faver durability over firepower. Their late game is still lackluster too, even with these changes. Not to mention nerfing non-doctrinal units because of an addition of doctrine is stupid. Especially one we know nothing about. Besides USF early game isn't all it's cracked up to be. Proper MG usage will still shut them down pretty easily. In: COH2 Balance

One Puma is all it takes to quickly destroy your Mortar Pit while you are fighting hard on the front line. I honestly still think that making Brace last longer might have been a good "Nerf" since the weapon will be out of action longer without losing an expensive investment so quickly. Or better yet, make at least the Mortar Pit have a health increase to withstand a couple more shots from long-range direct fire. Speaking of emplacements, I just noticed today that the Vickers HMG can no longer be garrisoned in any of them? I'd agree. 30 seconds would be better. It's plenty of time to destroy the emplacement if you have the proper tools. 60 seconds just leaves it too open to be being quickly taken out by things like a single stuka or call-ins even after the player has successfully defended an assault.
