The definition of hard counter is that you beat a unit for cost (aka 240mp beat 440 which aren´t used skillfully). It's supposed to hard counter infantry when used the right way, having unsupported mg isn't skillful either. Also, retreating is an option, I know germans are not used to it but it's there on the screen. In: COH2 Balance
