For the amount of fuel it costs, unless the American player is in a position in which he has the entire map HE is unlikely to get another piece of armour for a good 5 - 10 minutes. In this time if the OKW knows that there is a Jackson around on the field then he should be punished if he plays aggressively with his armour, once there is a Jackson on the field all OKW armour should be aware and in defensive positions backed up by a Rakatenwerfer and/or Volks with a Panzer shrek. So many times I have seen a Panther blindly rush forward to try and deal with a Jackson, only to be destroyed in 3 -4 shots, as it should be. Come on guys, the Jackson has a 90mm anti-tank gun, the clue is in the name. In: COH2 Balance

The spirit of the drops is to encourage time wasting as to give Relic a toll of 150 hours of server traffic & fees. I didn't pay $20 for 'most' of a game. Or you could just play the game and wait for things to drop. You seem to be focusing more on drops than the actual brand new expansion to the game which is fun and changing Company of Heroes. Thread: Riflemen eating Volks!1 Jul 2014, 11:26 AM I think Volks are okay as they are. After watching and playing some games as OKW I've come to the conclusion that every tier 1 unit has to be used in conjunction with another. For example, if you are going to be using Volksgrenadiers you need to have another unit nearby, whether that be Sturmpioneers or another Volks squad, I've seen so many players use one Volks against one Rifleman squad and are surprised by the outcome. Of course Volks will lose, Riflemen cost more and have better weapons. Flanking a Rifle squad with a Sturmpioneer or another Volks seems to do the trick. I find the whole point of Volksgrenadiers is to allow them to survive until the 15 - 20 minute mark, there they should have at least vet 3 which is a huge problem for USF. Riflemen are meant to win early engagements, but Volks come back bigger, better and stronger. In: COH2 Balance
