Thread: Lags! All the time! WHY??????10 Aug 2013, 23:21 PM Command delay is annoying, but at least it affects everyone and won´t stop you from playing the game. What I don´t get however why some people (including me) get lag-kicked most of the time and can´t even finnish a game. It worked a few weeks ago, so I wonder what could have been changed. EDIT: I can´t believe I missed that post on the official Forum: http://community.companyofheroes.com/forums/company-of-heroes-2-discussion/topics/Official-Thread-Lag-Command-Delay Apparently this is a very widespread issue that prevents a quite large number of people from playing the game. Relic however is aware of the issue and trying to find a sollution. You can help them by sending your error logs after getting kicked out of the game, further details are in the link above. Thread: Lags! All the time! WHY??????10 Aug 2013, 20:59 PM Sorry to bump this threat, but I have the same issues for about 3 weeks now and am starting to get desperate. I do not have the latest rig avaiable, but it still should be able to run CoH2 without any Problems: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 860 @ 2.80GHz 8 GB RAM NVIDIA Geforce GTX 560 16k DSL The game runs smooth in single Player, but to make sure I have set the game settings to the lowest possible quality for MP. I have installed the latest drivers and I also have forwarded the required ports as described in post #9. It doesn´t matter, I still can´t finnish 4 games out of 5 due to lag. Usually the "Arsti is lagging" messages start to pop up half a minute into the game, followed by a votekick at about 4 minutes. It can´t be me getting matched up with people from the far side of the world, the same will haben when I play compstomps with RL friends (they won´t kick me of corse, but they too get annoyed by the votekick messages popping up once per minute). It was fine back in beta and for the first few weeks after release. I even upgraded to the collectors edition back then. Now I´m starting to regret this decision as the game has become pretty much unplayable. Does anybody have an idea what else I could try out? Thread: Blizzards vs Strafe spam4 Jul 2013, 22:19 PM Hi all, this is the first replay I have uploaded, I hope you enjoy it. Okha river winter, minimum player level 53, all german players choose assault support. Three strafing runs in the air at the same time! A grim situation for the Red Army. However the Wehrmacht has once again not prepared for winter. With the Luftwaffe grounded during blizzards, the soviets manage to reclaim lost ground with grim determination. They would rather freeze to death than surrender! No soviet cheese, at least on my side of the river. My favourite moments are when penal troops use their charges to great effect, or when a factory-new Tiger sinks into the murky depths of Okha river. In: Replays
