The T-70 is a quite high-micro unit yea. You need to be constantly babysiting it just like the M3. If you get the hang of it, it sure as hell is a great unit. Just have to be sure you don't overextend it to much. Keep practicing and you'll get there.
Indeed it does work. But I dont think its neccesary to change any balance in order to cripple this strategy. Why would you? If you do, you might as well change other stuff for certain strategies as well.
Fun thing of this game is that you try to figure out what your opponent is doing or trying and you trying to counter or prevent that. This strategy might be particular difficult to counter, but it should be possible. If the micro isn't up to it you'll fail pretty quickly, which leads to loss of squads and fuel points. If you lose just 1 fuel point it could turn around pretty quickly.
Its really simple - to get new players to make this game competitive u only need a ladder - nothing more or less - ofc balance is also a good thing.I cant understand whay they made a game,a game whitch has good potential without a fck ladder. Its like lets make not competitive game and lets make a game for 200 ppl insted of 50 000.
They didn't make a game without the ladders. It simply wasn't ready yet. As it was stated before, a third party was hired to build those ladders and that third party messed up and didn't make the deadline. Simple as that.
If I've gone T1 to T3, I'll usually only build one T-70 from T3, then tech to T4 for the SU-85 ASAP. However, if I've gone T2 to T3 and I'm doing well, I might go for another T-70 or T-34. If I do this, I make sure build a ZiS from T2 before too long so I can keep the P4 in check until the SU-85 comes out.
Sounds like a smart thing to do. I should try to remember that if I'll try it again.
Thanks for the guide! I might give this a try later on.
About countering that HT I think teching back for a clowncar might make you fall behind in resources, so I'd say for that ZiS. That might come in handy against the P4's as well.
After reading through the topic kind of fast, I would like to thank Noun for taking the time to talk with us on this particular forum, which isn't even the official one!
Somehow there are alot of ppl who think that nobody, absolutly nobody makes mistakes. It's baffling to see all those posts that stuff wasn't right on the launch or whatever. No product, not one is completely perfect in the entire world?! If you ask someone or a company to produce or manufacture anything, the first product always needs tweaking or whatever. Same goes for games, they're never 100% finished, it's a work in progress.
Anyways, I for one am satisfied with the game and info Noun gave us. They are doing their best, and thats all they can do. Keep it up Relic!
I'm always a little 'afraid' or sceptic about going T3. Every time I tried it so far, I got my butt kicked by P4, thinking I denied enough fuel and it wouldn't come any time soon. But yea, if you can keep that T-70 alive and even get it to vet its a really good asset. But so far I couldn't get it to vet or even alive lol.
