After creating the
following thread I wanted to bring my solution concerning the DLC.
Even though it probably won't change anything, here is how I would of structured the game including the DLC.
Company of Heroes 2 - Competitive Collector's Edition - 100$
-Full Game
-All Multiplayer Commanders (Initial+future)
-Skins : Initial 5 custom skins for all vehicles
-Faceplates : Initial 5 custom Faceplates
Company of Heroes 2 - Competitive Edition - 90$
-Full Game
-All Multiplayer Commanders (present+future)
Company of Heroes 2 - Collector's Edition - 80$
-Full Game
-Skins : Initial 5 custom skins for all vehicles
-Faceplates : Initial 5 custom Faceplates
Company of Heroes 2 - Standard Edition - 60$
-Full Game
Purchasable DLC PRESENT & FUTURE
-Upgrade to any of the editions $$$ = respective difference from standard to which ever edition.
-Skins
-Faceplates
-ToW Commanders
-ToW Missioins
I think this model wouldn't bring any frustration to the competitive / multiplayer community and still a lot of potential revenues via DLC for Relic and Sega.
If this was the model, I personally would be upgrading to the Competitive Collector Edition and probably be buying more DLC like skins and faceplate because I would encourage this model but as it is right now, I don't feel like buying any of the DLC because I really do not agree with the model even I do appreciate all the free content but paying for multiplayer commanders is really killing it for me.
