Although the "data provided by relic" is a bit redundant

Are there any "paired" leaderboards in the making as well?
For 2v2's for example. Would be pretty amazing

Nice, cherrypicking your arguments. I only said that because you used that "argument" yourself. I can say StephennJF thinks the german mortar is better. He is high level. T4 IS useful on prypjat in teamgames, there you goes your factual proof. Actually on most chokey maps Can you get in your head that I agree that most indirect fire units arent used in meta? I only said that the german counterparts are VASTlY superior than the sovjets which makes up for the lesser amount of units. Also nice ad hominem bro. In: COH2 Balance |

Nice reading skills Dave What? No."feels" a bit stronger? Are you really trying to have a credible argument based on your feelings? I said they are balanced AoE really matters little in the realities of the game. Agreed, which I said earlier The nebel isn't even being used. The katyushka is essentially a stronger unit atm because of where it lies in the Meta. There's no place for Ostheer T4 anywhere accept in a failed strat or a troll game where you've won anyways. All buildings for Soviets work and are useful in some way to some strat. Quote Nullist: Your "rarely seen" argument was irrelevant, because its subjective. Plus that's what I'm saying all the time, let's look at the meta: Guards+PPSh doctrine Sovjet mortar: Not used At gun: Not used, maybe really late in game when backteched but not for the barrage... Su76: Not used katyusha: Used There is nothing useful at the moment about German T4. Not even in team games tbh. Are you really trying to have a credible argument based on your feelings? And stop spelling it "Sovjet". Sovjet This is fun ![]() In: COH2 Balance |

No insult there. Your tier argument was irrelevant, because overall, Ost still has less, regardless of tier selection. Why is this a bad thing? I'm saying the options germans have are fare more superior to the Sovjet ones. Your "rarely seen" argument was irrelevant, because its subjective. Yes and finding the disparity a problem is also subjective. Atgun barrage is expensive and su76 is not a great tank overall Your German Panzerwerfer/Mortar/Howitzer "indirect" fire rate of fire and cooldowns argument was irrelevant, because it is accounted for commensurately by Sov alternatives having asymmetric equivalence in terms of more damage and AoE. -Panzerwerfer has lower cooldown and fires all it's missiles in one go > more damage and higher AoE -German howitzer is VASTLY superior to Sovjet one. Sovjet fires only 8/9 shells while the german fires a lot more and has only ~30 sec cooldown. That is a lot more damage total -German mortar might be balanced against soviet one but feels stronger, let's say they are balanced That gives 2 extra nondoc units for Soviets ATgun barrage, expensive but okay damage SU76, weak tank with okay damage Your argument of RNade as an indirect fire option is irrelevant because a Molotov can also be thrown indirectly, and furthermore is asymmetrically balanced due to no minimum range and superiority vs buildings as well as potential to crit the armor reliant Ost troops. You were listing all the indirect fire options even though you would never see all of those in a normal game. Might as well include more In: COH2 Balance |

So, issue resolved. AA is roughly equivalent. Ill finally bite T2/T4 for Sovjets is rarely seen as you dont have good anti infantry capabilites. This leaves most games where you have 2 options of indirect fire as Sovjet. German indirect fire is superior to sovjet in rof and ability cooldown. What about rifle nade, thats indirect fire right? with good range. Sorry for being a "fanboy" and you probably "don't care" In: COH2 Balance |
Thread: Safe, Standard ostheer 1v1 build?11 Aug 2013, 12:04 PM
I like to go gren/mg/gren or mg/gren/gren depending on the map. Then I quickly buy the tech upgrade to be prepared for scout cars. Then 3rd gren When facing cons and no sign of scout cars get another gren. No engies? build t2 and get a scour car without upgrade. Its pretty decent at harrassing and doing damage I think you buy the healing tech a bit too early. 60 munis is a lot early game especially when facing scout cars. |
Thread: UI Breakdown and Comparison11 Aug 2013, 09:03 AM
Those shields are so much better at the place you put them Much easier to glance over. I don't know how I feel about the stats screen, there are too many variables to just say what the stats of one unit are at any given time. How is the RoF gonna change when they pick up a lmg and shreck? ____ One small UI change I would change myself is to switch the icon if units inside buildings from the left top to the right one. This makes it easier to see if any unit is lowhealth since the garrisoned icon will currently block it In: COH2 Gameplay |

Stug is actually decent when your opponent has t3 up and you have the upperhand on infantry battles. But when does that happen ![]() It's rotation speed and speed in general is not good enough to keep dodging atnades. Stun is awesome though. But what I hate about this it can actually miss In: Strategy Desk |
