One of the hardest strategies to beat as ostheer vs a fairly skilled sov player. You poor a heavy amount of attention into getting rid of the sniper and in the meantime he is gaining better map control and draining your mp. The longer it goes on the worse it gets.
But someone said it right, snipers in scout cars isn't the only problem or the biggest, it's the 1cp guards that support that strat. |

If somebody made a tigerram2 simple game like frogger i would crack up. It would be "disable the tiger!" you would get 3 "lifes" aka T34s to ram it perfect. AND RNG predicts when tiger gets disbled! I WOULD PLAY EVERYDAY! |

The problem with the sniper, which is the hard counter to shocks, is that it's so damn unreliable. The attack move is completely bugged so it has to be babysat and thts hard to do with shocks and cons with mollys running around the map decrewing Mgs and killing squads. It's a micro nightmare, a quick burst with smg or long range rifle burst could kill your vulnerable sniper the second you turn your head. Not to mention an IL2 strike late game which is almost guaranteed to take that sniper out unless you act fast and hide it in a bunker at your base.
The vet1 ability also is rng dependent and sometimes I feel it doesn't even work. Isn't it suppose to "shock" cons, stopping them in their tracks? If that's the purpose, I've seen cons take the hit and keep moving (even with the icon above them)! I know it's not suppose to stop shocks but be nice if it worked as intended. I too don't think 1cp shocks are a problem, I just think the hard counters aren't reliable and are very fragile. (FHT lulz.. Sniper? Lulz) |
Unfortunately RAM is the only way to deal with German heavies/call-ins. (though i agree it is very gimmicky, along with lots of soviet units)
The matchup between the t34/76 and p4 is weird, sometimes I see a p4 win outright and sometimes I see a p4 recieve heavy damage before destroying t34, but p4 always wins (RNG I guess). I'd like to see the t34/76 buffed slightly, I love that tank and its great when you vet it, though i don't keep them alive for to long.
Having t34/76 and at guns in support is an absolute winning combo. |
Wow good game, captain made some terrible micro and attack errors throwing his P4s and Ostwinds away. At one point he had like 12 units and u have 4!!! way to stick it out. |
I could have sworn this happened to me once. The victory counted as a 2v2 German and I got the loss in 1v1. It was real strange. |
