Nobody talking about Relic addressing vehicle death crits. Nobody talking about removal of precision strike, which was a super dumb ability. Nobody talking about the first steps in fixing call-in heavies. Reinforced wire being cuttable. Sturm sweepers not having terrible range anymore. Global HMG buffs to counter-act blobbing. Removal of Flame crits and the flamer model blowing up randomly. No more weapon crews dying out of the blue while crewed/having to be paranoid and repair them constantly against Guards/PTRS cons. Better tank control via prioritize vehicle being added... Like seriously... did people just skip over all the amazing changes to immediately QQ about T34/85s, which won't be as strong as they are now relative to other Axis buffs... /facepalm FailFish This community never ceases to amaze me. I can see it being pretty scary once it gets Vet1 and TWP. Out of curiosity what do you make of the change: Distances adjusted to match other tank destroyer profiles Seems like the range of the StugG was increased to 60 but it's so vague I really don't know. Stug G will still be 50 range. The old stug G tore up 85s. The new one will be even better at killing tanks than the old one. In: Lobby

The buffed guards by making them not drop their weapons every 5 seconds. There wasn't a single Axis nerf other than the Tiger I being limited to 1 so....... Guards already lose to lmg grens. Sure the 120mm lost damage but that is not why anyone goes guard motor. Even with the nerf it still retains better squad wipe potential than the 82mm and now is cheaper to field. Beyond that guards will drop their weapons a lot less often and all of the T34/85 CP requirements remain unchanged while Guard motor's main competitor, Shock Rifle, is limited to a single IS2 on the field at any one time. Lets not forget also that changes to AT nades and Pfausts mean that T34/85s are going to be A LOT more mobile on the flank compared to before. Stug G is going to destroy 85s so hard. Soooooo hard. The problem is pointed out as Guard Motor T34/85 call ins and Guards. My take on this current patch is that now Wehr and OKW are really screwed, as Soviet players can still spam 85s like always. But, now Wehr is limited to 1 tiger at a time. In essence, Soviets don't have to ever build any buildings and can spam 85s as they are not a heavy tank. Nice fix! The game was getting boring before but it is fixing to get real stale with this fix. Soviets - why do anything now but Guard Motor as you can spam 4 or more T34/85s at a time. Wehr - WTF do you do? Spam paks? Forget about competing armor wise. Only masochists will play axis now. Um... You could just tech stug Gs? Guard motor got pretty nerfed. Isu or is2 doctrines will be stronger than guard motor. Also CAS already destroys guard motor. CAS will be the most op doctrine this patch imo. In: Lobby
