Thread: Stug III E is excellent25 May 2014, 21:43 PM This is not the highest level game, but I've been having great success with the Stug III E and Mechanized Assault in general. Since the acceleration and AOE changes the Stug is an extremely potent A.I. tool that can kite with ease and gets ridiculous rate of fire once you hit vet 3. Mid-game Assgrens can also work as an excellent counter to support weapons in tandem with Light Artillery Barrage. In: Replays

Setting up against the conscripts who didn't spot me in time, read to fire, FIR..... reload. Indeed, this is the precise reason for this topic. There is no level of skill involved in knowing when your mg is going to reload or working around it. It is just an easy way to get de-crewed. I thought they were simply a vessel for some historical facts about units. I can count the good ones on one hand: Soviet mines and wire build 10% faster MG42 reloads 10% faster (switch windows in garrison faster and activate incendiary round a bit better) Mortar 10% faster cool-down on barrage And what I consider the best of them: "Unit" gains veterancy 10% faster. I would like to see this bulletin replace all of the crappy ones especially for units like Engineers or Pios who will be able to repair faster at vet 2. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Soviet Support team or Why would Soviets use combined arms?23 May 2014, 18:58 PM One of the keys for using the 120mm in my opinion is working around the long hang-time on the shell. Attacking ground in a predictive way to get good hits is a MUCH faster way to get vet 1 than just letting your 120 sit back and auto-fire. The 120mm also has a +10% exp bulletin that I often use to get the precision-strike faster. That being said, I really think it deserves a mp decrease to call in, slightly improved range, a move back to one CP or a mix of these things. In: COH2 Balance

You have to learn the best timing and best range using it. It is like a overgrown riflenade. A barrage killing a bunch of Gren in cover is huge. I tried in a 1v1 only using barrage killing inf can raise the gunner to vet 3. No you don't. I sense a "pot calling the kettle black" moment here. In: COH2 Balance
