Thread: Thought about the Penal and Guards Infantry11 May 2014, 14:45 PM Guards are core infantry, yet doctrinal. They're also shit. Penals are non-doctrinal but manage to be even more shit than Guards. If Soviets would have just one casual-approved Infantry unit that could A-Move the shit out of everything like the Grenadier, the Panzer Grenadier or the Assault Gren or the German Mortar this game would be radically improved. The production/construction will be 'stuck' in lag state and never advance. Suffice to say, if you build a consript, you will not be able to ever build anything from the HQ until the game ends.
