Thread: About Grenade Inconsistencies6 Nov 2019, 13:40 PM From my perspective those grenades are just weird. Sometimes they just nuke whole squads sometimes they just barely give them a scratch. If that's not enough, maybe it could see a durability boost too. It's an Ostheer KV-8: it'd be nice if it were similarly effective without manual targeting. That would be a big QoL change IMO. Also on Panzerwerfer complaints: Panzerwerfer shots will not collide with buildings or trees (unless you braindeadly shoot it in absolute pointblank to the tree) and will suppress/pin units in its effected area of fire. So its slow firing is justified around that. In: COH2 Balance

Beside some direct solutions of adding usf mortar and assault sections, Many ideas has been posted about how to fill the gaps in the lineup while still remain the unique. I dont see why adding some basic tools that the lineup lack suddenly make sections op, because their performance as an individual unit unchanged, the faction will be better then, but isn't it the purpose ? I agree with you on many points in this post but if Brits got their much needed tools (Assault Infantry,Non-doc mobile indirect platform) then Tommies will definently be nerfed. In contrast with OST you can see the reason why Grens lose to any other infantry other than Cons (they lose to them when they get ther 7 man too) is because they have all the tools to help them out. Now imagine a faction which can grab 5man (durable) man with double LMGs supported by assault infantry and mortars Have a good day. In: COH2 Balance

The problem is rocket artillery actually is for clearing out late-game team weapon walls. Try playing UKF into a heavy support weapon build and you'll see how much you need heavy indirect to clear them out. IMO rocket arty(especially) is more for anti blob purposes. You can use shell arty to clear out atgs and mgs but against blobs it is often useless compared to rocket artys fast response time. In: COH2 Balance

I would much rather see the game focus about medium tank and ATG play as the main meat of armour play. With less focus on panthers and TDs. 10/10 agreed but would want to see the same thing for Katyusha+Werfer while still retaining their anti blob power. In: COH2 Balance
