I woulod love to see fuel -> ammo ability in different commanders.
The Osttruppen Doctrine commander also has that ability, Redistribute Resources. |
Over the weekend I played a 3v3 where a teammate bought one and immediately put a flamer pio inside. It made for a handy flanking unit and generally terrorized all the support weapon teams. Has anyone actually tried putting a sniper inside? |
Here's a replay where my teammate and I faced some early sniper-heavy play and managed to kill them all before they got out of control. It's probably 40% skill, 30% luck, and 30% mistakes from the other players, but at the very least you get to enjoy seeing a whole bunch of dead snipers (ours included) and a cheesy strat backfiring horribly  |
My regular 2v2 partner uses this commander in almost all of our games now. The anti-infantry strafe can really save your bacon if you're getting charged by five squads of PPSh conscripts, which, in the current patch, is going to happen in >50% of games. It doesn't really do any damage, but it will insta-pin anything it catches. It's got a long enough cooldown that it stays balanced (imho) while still providing good emergency blob control. |
Not a particularly good or high-skill game, but if you want to see a lot of snipers get killed this replay features them dying in almost every conceivable way.
My favorite: mortar shell landing in a moving M3 and killing both snipers.

Had a match where i took out 4 tanks, thx to riegel mines. They are laid faster than teller mines, cost the same, deal the same damage(?) and take out the tracks, so they are actually pretty cool.

You can also try blocking the bunker's LoS with smoke if you've already got a mortar and just need to bypass it.
Blowing them up with a demo charge is definitely the fastest way, if rather expensive. I've seen them go down to a single demo, but I don't know if that works 100% of the time.
Doesn't apply to early game, but a KV-8 can take out a bunker in something like 2 bursts. |
Trip Wire Flares
They don't always kill, and the small trigger area of the mine makes it likely that the enemy squads will just pass around it, making it unreliable in keeping a flank safe. Plus, you're likely using your conscripts and elite infantry for things other than mine-laying.
Whenever I have a vet squad that is capping a point, I put these down. Killed a German sniper with one yesterday  |
