Thread: Rear Echelon Squads10 Aug 2014, 00:39 AM I think they're fine other than volley fire. That ability should just be removed from the game. They're trying so hard to be like the vCoH panzer grenadiers with G43's it's pathetic. Volley fire is a waste of munis. Nobody uses it as a tactical play style. It's just a luck button and hoping you get someone that's running out in the open. AT mines would be a great addition to them. You know... actually promote smart play by strategically positioning mines in certain areas. Right now though, you never build another RE squad other than to crew shit and build fighting positions. Thread: Sherman paper thin?10 Aug 2014, 00:04 AM I dunno why everyone keeps saying the Sherman isn't meant to kill other tanks. It has AP rounds for a reason lol. Anyway you're just getting unlucky. The Sherman does pretty decent but you have to keep it at a range. Only get close if you're fighting other tanks. In: US Forces Strategies

Thread: Retreat = Suicide8 Aug 2014, 21:41 PM What I don't get is why retreat paths don't take leaping over obstacles an option. There are times when you retreat, units will run all the way around a particular fence and get killed while doing it instead of jumping over the fence. It's kind of dumb in my opinion. Also the fact that retreating units still have collision hit boxes sucks. It just just promotes blobbing play. The more squads you have, the easier it is to surround your opponents squads with your men and force them to get stuck inside your squads; blocking their retreat path. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Bugs I've noticed.4 Aug 2014, 18:46 PM Houses being destroyed in 1 hit regardless of their HP. Grenades taking up munitions but not throwing any grenades. Knocking out Axis tanks while they're cloaked and recrewing them with your infantry will make them permanently cloaked. The crew with .50 cal HMG in buildings will sometimes start humping the floor and not shoot. Lots of bugs, just too many to list. In: COH2 Bugs
