Thread: metacritic score 11 Jul 2013, 15:31 PM Jump back to quoted post11 Jul 2013, 13:36 PMInverse Why do you give a fuck about an arbitrary number on a random website? calm down, man i preordered it months ago, so its not about getting or not getting the game. it was just the question, why many communitiy members would rate it with 10/10, because its clearly not 10/10 (yet?), and second, how you guys would rate it. i dont think, that the campaign is too harsh and shows the russians in a bad light, because you cant deny, that for example order 227 existed. and the sowjets lost about 20 million soldiers, while the germans lost 2.7 million. that is a HUGE difference and shows clearly, that this part of the campaign is actually true. im from germany, and here you cant live a day without hearing, how bad third reich was, but nobody ever says here, that the sowjets were bad aswell. Thread: metacritic score 11 Jul 2013, 08:41 AM Hei, i honestly think, that the metacritic score seems kinda weird. many people giving it 0/10, because they are Russians and ignorant and dont like their history, many famous community guys giving it 10/10 (rogers, Hans, Markus, avderoos). cmon guys, coh2 is neither 0 nor 10 points, and we as intermediates to pros should know that. Thread: ..about recording gameplay29 Jun 2013, 22:12 PM i personally prefer dxtory over fraps, because fraps limits your screen fps to the videos fps, while dxtory does not. there is a good guide from fatal saint: http://www.coh2.org/news/1148/fatalsaint-s-casting-tips-and-tricks he uses fraps, but feel free to experiment. and by the way, use megui, i dont like its interface and so on, but it converts your video well, so audio and video will be still synchronous, even with framedrops (you need that especially on wintermaps). this was the biggest step for me, i tried it with loads of options and still had asynchrnous audio! It's not good.25 Jun 2013, 21:51 PM @marcus yep, 200 muni. slow rate doesnt matter, because if you spam conscripts you will always have like 2 or 3 squads repairing and its quite fast then i dont think its that good in a 1v1, because you dont have guards to counter flamerhalftrack. but this seems to be the only downside, which you would have with shock-troops aswell. on the other hand, you get VERY VERY good conscripts, who can repair you t34 or t70 and can fight aswell, so its good for conscript spammers. in a 2v2 or 3v3 or ... this doc is broken, tried it today.
