They aren't as bad and situational as JHeartless depicts them. And btw: Use your Guards together with snipers or AT-guns/T34-85 in order to establish a effective force. In: COH2 Gameplay

Also enhance your micro/tactical skills by constant playing; it will definitely solve many problems. Watch replays/casts of superior players to look what they're doing. In: Lobby

Moreover you are able to start counter offensives -if the Soviet-player's assault fails- to cutoff his own fuel point. And German snipers are actually a effective way to diminish conscript squads before they can even see your grens. They should be therefore only used when supported/backuped. In: Lobby
