So you seriously think that generals go to the field and order each of their platoon, battalion or division to secure the perimeter every time they stop, and then check if it is well done? Generals command armies, not single divisions. There's a hierarchy of command that makes that "routine" tasks such as securing the perimeter are supervised by other people, depending on the size of the unit.
omfg, you really don't understand what i'm trying to say... Generals are responsible for everything what their officers (or w/e they are called) do on the front. General duty is to plan defence/offence, officers are executing it. you even know how command hierarchy works or not? because your post is senseless right now.
