The ostheer sniper has a .325 accuracy multiplier against garrisons. The soviet sniper has a .4 accuracy multiplier against garrisons. The UKF sniper has a .5 accuracy multiplier against garrisons. Thread: A few questions about mortars and artillery in WWII19 Dec 2017, 16:42 PM (This is all as far as I'm aware): Most long distance weapons (especially indirect fire), were eventually zeroed onto their target. The initial rounds fired would usually land far from away from their intended targets. Progressive adjustments were made after each round of shells were fired in order to become more and more accurate and "zero" onto their target. It sounds like a tool to boost your stats in an infantry fight and a tool to charge and kill HMGs head on. The first is fairly dull and the second is something I'm not sure infantry should have. What if it was reworked into an infantry version of Brace? You get heavy damage reduction but the squad's accuracy and firing rate goes through the floor and you're immobilized on top of that. That turns it into a tool for buying time. You won't win any one on one infantry fights with it but it allows you to stall while an allied squad moves in to support. You can't use it to kill an HMG head on but you can use it to survive its fire for a bit while a friendly squad flanks it. You could also use it as an indirect fire or grenade panic button - not as good as getting out of the way but better than staying put without it. You essentially described what it already does and why it would already be used. In: Lobby

In coh2, if you're on the back foot fuel and territory wise, you can use callins to get tanks anyway.
