I also don't know who buys faceplates or skins, but I don't have any problems with it. It is totally fine for me to offer something like that. But this is only because there is no negative effect on anyone involved. The developers earn a little bit more money, the people who are spending money on it obviosly think it is a good investment for their game experience and other players still are able to recognize the kind of tank the opponent has (atleast in the current stage of dlc skins -----> pls don't sell invisible camouflage or distracting skins in the future!!!).

Selling DLC commanders on the other hand is a totally other thing. These actively change the balance, favoring the players with more abilities on their hand. This is the DEFINITION of PAY TO WIN!!!

And i remember that there was a promise by the developers that there wouldn't be anything like this in COH2!!! So I guess this shows another time how corrupting money can be, even if it is just a couple of bucks from some nerds who couldn't win otherwise.

Until now this was just a minor issue due to the fact that the available dlc commanders just were a mix of different standart commanders, but now this isnt the case anymore.

Yeah what i wanted to say is...I'am dissapointed but not surprised.

So let's make something clear: I strongly resent spamming or abusing a new op feature or unit just to beat another new op unit. We play with ESL settings. This means only the first five commanders are allowed. But this should not influence the chance of winning. If a game is well balanced you should be able to win with one of the first five commanders if you play better. This however is not the case.

@panzerjager2: I don't know how good you play or how good your opponent was, but against a good player who uses the assault grens you can not win that way in a 2v2. Even with molotovs both players have to focus on one fuel point to create an 2v1 situation in the beginning. As soon as the other german player is done capping the map he will attack your cutoff, you will lose the single fuel point you hab and the ostwind and p4 is on the battlefield about a minute sooner as you can possibly bring your double t34 on the field.

Maxims seem to never pin down an assault gren squad and as soon as they get this nade spam ability they are f***** anyway.

It is so sad to watch a game die. I mean I am a really good player, DonnieChan my mate is too, but we lost every single game we played today as soviets. And we played about ten games. Normally we lose one or two games a week and we play every day in the week. And we didn't just lose every time, we also lost every single game against the same lame shit. Everyone, with no exception is just spamming this new infantry. And there is no solution or counter as soviets.

including all the fun stuff: satchel, super-pak, howitzers,...

So after opening all the described ports I can tell you that this wasn't the problem. It is still lagging as before and I am really getting pissed off now. This can't be an ongoing issue. I mean it is a good game, but what does that give you when you can't play it?
