Roll it back until it is fixed. Please! More people play automatch then that but I think this patch has fundamentally broken far too many things for it to stay in this state. Either a big ass hotfix needs to come out next week or the patch should get rolled back so it has more time to cook in the oven. Thread: Are the patches making this game progressively worse?12 Apr 2020, 08:40 AM I think they have just lacked focus with the last couple patches and I think the mark was really missed with this one. The issue is they are trying to balance all game modes when that isn't possible with so few people working on these patches. They are trying to make everybody happy and are making no-one happy in the process. Either strictly come out a balance the game for a certain set of game modes or honestly stop patching the game at this point because it seems like while certain problems get fixed, new and old problems are returning again. 1 step forward, two steps back, which is disheartening because I know these guys are putting in work for free but I think they need more help and we need far more testing ahead of time. Thread: High Skill USF gameplay is just so micro intensive8 Apr 2020, 23:19 PM CoH 2 is a blob fest in general because unless you have at least a pair of MG's setup and shooting at the blob the gunner is going to get killed and then you get decrewed and stolen. Issue is the power creep of mainline infantry in tandem with MG's excluding the 50 Cal and maybe the MG-42 not being able to suppress vetted infantry quickly enough to prevent them from getting shredded. Even then the 42 isn't super mobile and the 50 cal is kind of squishy so 50 Cal is better in an attack move style of play. It's a core fundamental problem with CoH 2. At least in CoH 1 the MG-42 was able to suppress allied blobs even though I can't say the same about the 30 Cal. In: Lobby

Thread: Ram + Offmap combo needs to be nerfed5 Apr 2020, 22:08 PM The only reason the IL-2 Rocket Run should be as strong as it is would be if it was a skillshot and the player had to actively predict movement of the enemy armor. Ram isn't OP at all but its design is stupid and carries way to much RNG with it. You combine the two and it isn't a skillshot anymore but a cheesy mechanic to allow cheaper units to trade with higher cost units without actually outplaying the opponent by flanking their armor. Either nerf the IL-2 so Soviet Airborne won't continue to be over-performing or fix the way ram works. I could see Soviet Airborne becoming even more meta next patch with Airborne Guards being buffed. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: What if we made the Flame Hetzer a useful unit? 4 Apr 2020, 04:02 AM I agree, I don't think the Hetzer is necessarily bad at what its supposed to do but it comes far to late to ever have an impact unless you are very far ahead of your opponent. Maybe reducing its fuel cost to 80 and maybe making it a call-in while still requiring Tier 4 and Panzer Authorization would make it come a bit earlier? Ostwind in Scavenge could probably also be a call-in but still require T4 and PA. Otherwise the Hetzer can stay at 90 fuel if it becomes too big of a problem in bigger games where the economy is inflated a bit. Not sure if having CP requirements stacked on top of these tanks would be good or not. In: COH2 Balance
