The Sturmtiger IS an artillery unit, it just only shoots at short range because Relic is full of very special people.

The unit can't function without the ability to shoot through shotblockers, removing that is basically just condemning it to the trash heap (once again). Making it an artillery unit (which would give OKW a good thing it's been missing for a while) is an excellent idea but it should then be a dedicated one, not a mix of both. In: COH2 Gameplay |

Exactly, what's the point of the original crew having it if squads who recrew it don't? They should just remove received accuracy on all "direct" combat teams like MG's and AT gun's. In: COH2 Balance |

It was an insincere question because you acted like I didn't know how to target the gun. And yes I have had guns refuse to die despite the health of the gun being at 0 and the crew still being alive. Have you been using explosive or ballistic weapons to test? Are you using bombing strikes or just tanks? Also recrewed weapons are weird, for instance they often keep the old vet (because it applies to the weapon ~just relic things~ ) and no longer get received accuracy while crewed. I love that commanders that haven't seen the light of day for almost 2 years are starting to see some time in the spotlight, They got a triple buff. Soviet stock army was made better, ~some~ call in's were killed or pushed back, and they just got a raw direct buff. Unfortunately this combined means matches often just turn into point and click adventures with players just insta countering or getting raped or having endless artillery duels that nobody wins. This just reinforces my theory the only people pissed about the Sturmtiger are people who are sad blobbing no longer is piss easy against OKW due to lack of counters. In: COH2 Gameplay |

PTRS's do pretty high alpha damage (not as much as before but against 4 man squads it's pretty nasty) and the 2 DP's together do 13 DPS (only 1 less than the 1 LMG34 carried by Obers). So the statement that they are only marginally better in the AI category is true, they have much less utility and bleed much harder. EDIT: Guards are better for the anti-light vehicle support they provide alone, which highlights the fact that Obers just don't have any utility. In: COH2 Balance |

How do you target the gun with a Stuka Zu Fuss barrage because I need to know, thanks in advance. EDIT: And you can reduce the howitzer to 0 health but if the crew is alive it won't die; Iv had LeFH's with 0 gun health before but because I had a command tank and a bunch of reinforcement and healing bunkers they couldn't kill a single one. Targeting the gun does nothing unless the crew dies. Sure you might damage the artillery piece but if you can't kill the crew... In: COH2 Balance |

Oh word? Build some early AT weapons that the M "This half track is trained to fuck your face" 5 can just drive out of the cone of kill with it's insane DPS. Something tells me you have not known the frustration of your Rackten's crew shooting at the enemy despite cloak and hold fire, exposing it, and then being killed by a Quadmount in like 2 seconds. At this point the 25% received accuracy on crew weapons in general it starting to seem really dumb. In: COH2 Balance |
