Losts 2 Schweres and was able to make THIRD one. Really? Im force to go for doctrine to counter BUILDING? Then the other player must be broken in the head because 3 Schwers is over 300 fuel and a single Panther on top of that is 227.5! Did this game like over an hour? And yes you need to take a commander to beat a unit. Either quit bitching about it or stop playing the game because commanders exist for a reason. Soviets are entirely designed around them, and USF commanders are mostly shit, but some are very good (Aiborne/Recon/Infantry). In: COH2 Balance

Btw TWP is a guaranteed penetration on all non heavy since it has 280 pen. Try using a StuG III Ausf G for anti infantry and see how far it gets you. And who cares if the stun shot can pen mediums when the StuG has problems making any hits afterward count because a stunned tank doesn't have less armor. The idea of the Su85 is already to hard counter mediums and help dealing with heavies. Remind you that we are talking about a STATIC Su85 which has limited turning on its gun. Stugs for 230mp + 80f can already do the same but on the move (see posts above) We also have other units in the game with similar capabilities. Little game. Guess which units get its and at which vet: For first shot fired out of camouflage +100000 penetration & +25% damage For first shot fired out of camouflage +150% damage & +150% accuracy & +150% penetration The Puppchen has good vet bonus's, to bad nobody uses it because the unit itself is garbage. Fragile, can't hit shit, and has a anemic ROF. And yeah if your doing the equivalent of hull downing an SU-85 I can see why it would be balanced, but it would be extremely map dependent. Why not just give the SU-85 a vet ability that lets it see enemy tanks in fog of war beyond it's sight radius? I mean it's a blood tank destroyer. In: COH2 Balance

I saw plenty 1v1 where OKW has lost T4, yes still was able to make second and Panther without big problems. That person was probably already winning pretty hard, or was using Spec Ops to call in a command Panther. The loss of the Schwer is pretty devastating since when you lose it you need to push up and lock down an area long enough for it to set up, which is MUCH harder late game due to the increased amount of infantry and tanks on the field. Let's say for the sake of argument that this is true. So Allies need to do X differently to unlock some hidden potential of their factions in order to win. My question is : why should this apply to Allies only? Why aren't Axis factions the ones who need to "think out of the box" and come up with intricate combined arms joint attack scenarios in order to merely get a chance of succeeding against overwhelming Allied power? Hard to have combined arms when you have no arms to combine. Give OKW some team weapons and Medium tanks please. Ostheer has to use combined arms. There is only 2 faction's that don't, OKW and USF. Thread: reasoning for putting a flak gun on the OKW base building?4 Mar 2015, 16:10 PM I still can't get over the fact people don't understand that with out it you can't make Panthers or Obers, which is what 99% of the people who bitch about OKW cry about. It's an important building which is why it has defenses. If you adjust the fuel cost for the OKW fuel penalty it's 104 fuel, which is only 16 less than the soviet t3-t4 buildings. In: COH2 Balance
