Thread: Graphic card suggestions23 Jan 2016, 03:44 AM Jump back to quoted post22 Jan 2016, 16:15 PMJewdo So I copied all my game folders (not steam backup through steam) there is no way to add them back to steam without re downloading? put it in the install directory. if you're using a standard setup it's "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Company of Heroes 2". if there isn't a directory then make one. steam (unlike origins) will automatically detect the files. that's why i brought up multiple HDD/SSDs btw, i have all (~~600GB) of my games on D:\ and when i do a reformat i just have to reinstall steam and it automatically finds everything. Luchs and the 222 are heavily mobile, the Luchs takes 3 AT shots to take down. Any non retarded OKW player will simply hit and run your units, forcing retreats, Sturms are also good at repairs so they can get back up fast, not to mention the repair half truck. UKF's only reliable solution is the AEC, Piats suck. you being bad at keeping AT guns from being flanked by light vehicles is a l2p issue, not an issue with AT guns. it doesn't matter if they hit and run as long as they don't hit hard enough to do significant damage. The AEC is the only viable answer to light vehicles for UKF. Piats? lmao. AT guns have to be set up. Snipers? If you had the time to fit in like 5+ shots sure or if the OKW player is retarded or went afk. AT guns are a viable counter to any light vehicles bigger than a kubel/WC 51/M3. the setup time just means that they require positioning and attention. In: COH2 Balance

Barrage should've been centered according to the targeting circle shown, but obviously wasn't, which made me realize how wrong I was about offset. ah, opening the image in a new tab lets me see the circle. i was just looking at the shrunk version and the targeting circle doesn't show up in that. Open coh2.AMD catalyst opens, pc freezes. open any exe, pc freezes. Re doing windows today. pain in the ass but always a good thing to do. 2nd HDD makes reinstalling everything a LOT easier. Thread: Should Relic take a look at artillery next patch?22 Jan 2016, 09:22 AM artillery doesn't have to wipe to be viable. giving it a larger AoE of less than lethal damage will make it still effective and less of an RNG fest. most artillery right now is both inaccurate and falls of quickly on damage meaning that they don't cause much bleed or force retreats; they either kill or do nothing. Thread: OKW Base Defence/Flak Truck in relation to Air units22 Jan 2016, 09:12 AM originally it made a bit of sense because OKW had a hard time getting out armour and were highly defensive. the AA gun on their t3 allowed them to defend an important area against loiters without having to go t2. this is sort of bullshit though because all the other factions against brits have to make the decision to go the tier with their AA if they want it (OKW included) but OKW also get's free bonus AA on both their base defense (admittedly shitty AA) and their t3. they also have AA options in 2 of 7 doctrines. OKH can get a lot of AA by upgrading units but OKW has the easiest access to strong AA. given how simple the aircraft/AA mechanics are in the game i'm not hugely bothered because there isn't a simple fix but it is annoying. It's probably getting a side upgrade cost, which would justify the AA imo. Doesn't the base AA have 0.5% chance/shot to down a plane? Or has it been completely removed?
