It´s good enough that they gave us the possibility to get commanders, skins etc. for free. Getting almost everything by being idle went against the purpose of being rewarded for actual playtime and it went against Relics marketing strategy. If you can get any commander if you just run the script long enough, less people are buying them. I also am against all this pay2win stuff that happens on a regular basis. I don´t like how new commanders tend to be overpowered and Relic tries to make new money this way. Though that is rather a balance issue. But it´s not our matter to decide how they make their money. They can´t live from love alone. So do not act surprised if Relic actually enforces some rules to punish scripting. It is after all the logical consequence. In: COH2 Gameplay

I don´t know what changed, that I barely see this any more. Nowadays I would go with Rangers though. Because anyone would ever notice pioneers being 2% harder to hit... +1 Triple stacking bulletins is the only thing that motivates me to collect them. I couldn´t care less for a 3% movement speed boost to Stormtroopers. A 10% speed boost however is actually noticeable especially when coupled with the faster retreat speed. I´m not going to actively pursue three different kinds of bulletins that do nothing noticeable and buff a unit "here and there". There would be no main focus I could concentrate on. This has to go with a change to the performance boost bulletins give you. And then everyone has a super effective bulletin, which eventually means nobody has. In: Lobby

Thread: Tiger Ace: Hurting yourself2 Apr 2016, 18:46 PM Hi, the lack of a fuel cost but hard resource drain on the Tiger Ace has been annoying me for a while. I´m not posting this in the balance sub-forum as it´s not a balance issue but a design flaw. Honestly the Tiger Ace is hard to characterize. It can be blatantly OP and in the next moment absolutely crippling to its user. It is a total gamble. So here is the Issue: You call in the Tiger Ace and pay with an incredible high manpower and resource drain for it. Other units in the game have upkeep of course but this is in no way comparable. Yet you pay no upfront fuel for one of the strongest units in the game. At the end of the day that means: By keeping the unit alive you hurt yourself. In my opinion this goes against the concept of unit preservation CoH is all about. Keeping a unit intact should reward you, not punish you by reducing your manpower by about 50%. Keeping it alive is a burden thus it is best used in a suicidal charge. I would like to see the resource drain be exchanged for an upfront fuel cost. What is your opinion? In: COH2 Gameplay
