Aces should be earned, and paid at full cost, but with superior skill and management allow them become a true edge for your army, not a handicap. I like this idea. The Tiger Ace is the only unit in the game that doesn´t level up. And that is quite annoying. It takes out an element of the game. After all Relic didn´t want features that intervene with unit leveling. So a vet 3 Tiger right from the get go seems odd. It could be a regular tiger with the ability to earn additional vet levels. (except Opel Blitz, Sturmoffizier and Sdkfz 250. ) In: COH2 Balance

The Allied player doesn´t get rewarded if he denies fuel as the TA only comes with a manpower cost. The Axis player is encouraged to yolo-rush the TA into action as it does not pay off when it´s alive for a longer time. You are better off going for a regular Tiger most of the time. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: On behave of the Churchill's May Patch 31 May 2016, 13:11 PM The Churchill really needed the cost decrease. Seeing and pulling off Comet spam 24/7 was boring. What the Churchill suffered from additionally is the possibility to have the same vehicle + Flamethrower in some doctrines. Nevertheless the Ostheer Panther also needed something. It´s incredible niche for the cost. A Panzer IV and especially a StuG have way more damage output in any realistic scenario due to sufficient penetration and better rate of fire. This isn´t going to be fixed by cheaper T4. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: How do you counter Ostheer sniper as USF?30 May 2016, 08:41 AM Actually the only counter I can think of would be the M20 utility car. But that vehicle is hard countered by the Sdkfz 222. Thus a Sniper + 222 combo is incredibly hard to counter as USA. Imo that is one of the most broken setups in the game and needs to be looked into. There basically is no hard counter available for the US against this Ostheer tactic. In: US Forces Strategies

I have not found emplacements to be the problem some people make it out to be. I disagree. I play in the same bracket. I experience them as a huge problem. A lot of 2vs2 maps are usually small enough that the counter battery can hit your artillery even close to the base (Moscow outskirts for example). They are also small enough that one Sim city can cover 2/3rd of the map (Semoiski, Road to Charkov). The micro toll for the Axis player is still heavy while the British player presses some buttons. There is no bleed until you finish the emplacement yet the Axis player bleeds heavily in the manpower compartment. In: COH2 Balance

Secondly the emplacement cancer is imo far worse and easier to pull off than ISG + Schwerer. Simply because Bofors can be set up in way more dangerous places. Reason for that is the low cost 15 vs 120 fuel, the loss of a tech structure for OKW and the brace function. In no way can the emplacement cancer be compared to OKW (which however is also overperforming vs US and Soviets). In: COH2 Balance
