You gotta zoom a little bit. But this whole thread reminded me of this meme from Stonetoss. ![]() In: COH3 Central |

Wanting to adhere to largely accurate units is fine. I can get it. But the BP, specifically, is a really small deviation from the norm, much less egreigous than some of their other liberties with history, and serves a clear purpose to fill out an empty spot in the roster / meta. That is your opinion. My opinion is that including a Tiger equivalent to the Brits is just lazy balancing. That was the road Coh2 took in the end with mostly marginal differences remaining between the factions. In my opinion that was stale and boring. You want to play a tank just like the Tiger? Play the Tiger. Also the inclusion of the BP kills the whole setting this game is in. It is set in a time where the first Tiger shock set in. A year before the Allies and Soviets even started upgunning their tanks. And into that setting we place a tank that wasn't even part of the war. And this goes beyond the Goliath not having a wire. That's pure cosmetics. In: COH3 Central |

V2 strikes never were in Coh. I guess you are referring to the V1. That still isn't an argument to include the BP. You don't want Aids just because you have cancer already. In: COH3 Central |

So I don't like the Black Prince in the game but I do understand why it's possibly being considered. It would be a unit that could go toe to toe with the German Panther and Tiger. It's a full on heavy tank for the allies which is possibly there so it feels like both sides have access to a potent heavy tank if they really want it (compared to like coh2 where the Panther was stock and the allies didn't have an equivalent). The Black Prince being a doctrinal equivalent to the Panther and Tiger which also both seem doctrinal is what makes the most sense to me as to the reason for it's inclusion. And that is exactly the reason why it shouldn't be in the game. Takes the whole point out of having a Tiger in the first place. Before the forum troll appears: I don't want an invincible Tiger. I just don't want some fantasy unit simply mirroring the Tiger. They also add black soldiers to airborne so yeah very realstic gameBlack soldiers fought in the war. Black princes didn't. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) On topic: There are two options we have. 1) Make this game true to the setting: Replace the BP. 2) We make this loosely themed about WW2. Then there is not a single reason that the KT, Jagdpanther etc. can't be in the game. I would prefer the former option. In: COH3 Central |

That's weird to see so many stock infantry options for Wehrmacht, and honestly this is one of the cases where "less is more" truly applies.I love it. Grens - Standard inf, meat shield Jäger - Ranged infantry PGrens - Assault infantry Stoßtrupp - Lategame Elite infantry This has an infantry unit for every playstyle and little redundancies. I especially like that you can choose between ranged (Jäger) and close performance (PGren) in the mid tiers. What I would really like to see is a Panzer III. It would fit the timephrame with the Ausf. L, M or N. In: COH3 Central |

The only offensive thing here is that the trailer features a Panzer IV with sideskirts in North Africa. In: COH3 Central |

Let's summarize it like this: North African Campaign and Italy. Finally a setting that is not about the last year of the war. Potential: Panzer IIs, IIIs and IVs versus Cruiser tanks, Grants and Shermans. What we get: The same German tanks versus post war moon cars that never left prototype stage. In: COH3 Central |

The thing that somewhat disappoints me is that the setting is new and has potential yet it seems we are getting a recycled Coh2 with late war/post war stuff. I can only speak for myself but looking at the Panzer III threads we had, I feel a lot of players really want some mid war units and not you standard big tank stuff. Archer tank destroyer, Chaffee, StG 44s all dont belong into 1943 Italy. I can accept those as in multiplayer you can still think it is somewhat authentic. The Black Prince however takes this a step further and includes a unit that has nothing to do with the entire war. In: COH3 Central |

If it is WW2 themed it should feature WW2 units exclusively. The Black Prince isn't one of them. In: COH3 Central |
