Thread: FG42 Sound11 Aug 2014, 09:28 AM The CoH1 FG42 sound was great, CoH2... not so much. Not to mention Falls were way more deadly in CoH1 too At vet 3 (all offensive) they would tear through an entire riflemen squad in like 5 seconds In: Lobby

Thread: Disallow base arty11 Aug 2014, 06:30 AM I feel that off map artillery should not be allowed to be used in opposing players' bases. Right now I just had a game where US player rushed bulldozer sherman into my base, I actually killed it fairly easily but he put some arty from that commander that in 2 shots destroyed my stuka and 2 vetted schrek volk squads before I could even move them out of the way. Where is the fun or balance in that?? That just ruined my whole match from 1 stupid thing. Also it would remove the abuse of scavenge doctrine arty on US players too. In: Lobby

He ran 2 pumas at me and 1 of em managed to limp into my base and ended the game via arty. He hadn't used muni up to that point as far as I could see, just spammed falls to stall and try to hold any sort of map control. He transferred any fuel to muni to afford the arty. Imo I suppose. It's a lame way to win after an opponent gets outplayed. Probably just not allow it to be used on a base as suggested and the issue is resolved Falls with scavenge doctrine??
