This is about the fog bug, I can see that it might be too strong but that is for balance not the bug forum, I also find it hard to comment on balance if we don't know if the shooting in fog is even intended as that would be a very important factor |
This artillery ability from the special weapons regiment does not require LOS to fire, perhaps this is intended but if its not it is a bug that should be addressed. If not a confirmation of this intention would be appreciated. |
I agree only its effectiveness vs structures is a problem from what ive seen, with a 30 second delay it can kill any mobile unit in the area without remorse and be balanced |

The british sniper fails to kill anything garrisons, whether this is related to the houses i shot at or its a general bug i have failed to kill any models in the last 20 or so shots ive taken.
Houses targeted were the house to the northeast of the cutoff on sem winter
The yellow house on the right of angoville
The white house adjacent to the north east cutoff on angoville.
I know you have a 50% chance to hit not 0, however its not working like that |
Something clearly changed experienced this with the ostheer mechanized assault group my Brit AT snipers were just 1 shotting everything inside the halftrack and doing no damage to the vehicle(no 50% chance to miss). I believe this is new and not intended |
I agree grens can get wiped by explosives super easily, but i think the problem is more engine related than squad size. A 5th man would make such events less likely but not impossible since volks and even cons can get wiped in 1 shot if they bunch up just right.
Problem is there but i think engine rather than unit adjustments are necessary |
4 raketens camoed and waiting strait up 1 shot it
pumas suck, jp4 won't die but has trouble killing one if theres an at gun, other than that you can go panther or p4 but that won't com out until after the centaur arrives so i recommend having 2 rakentens before the centaur gets on the field so you can camo shoot it and force it off
volk bleed very hard and struggle to catch it so don't rely on them |
The jurys not out yet on this map and ive had alot of fun playing on it so far but i can see two problems with it
1. There are two very nicely placed cutoffs on the map but base bunkers cover 80% of these territories(the one to the northwest of the center VP for the lefthand player and the southeast of the center VP for the right hand player) Cutoff play is essential in COH and i think it is a shame that i can't hardly stand in these sectors because of base mgs
2. That house by the south fuel is so strong put an mg in it and it can cover like 2 vps and a fuel in addition to seeing literally half of the map, very difficult to deal with early game
