funny thing is, you started changing topic of conversation, first i said that Soviet were lacking with good generals after Great Purge, and i don't know why dafuq you said that Gieorgij Zhukov was terrible (conclusion from my post or what?). When i said that a General was a priority in army commanding you started some shit talk about generals checking permimeter or scouting, sending scouts Dude you came up in an argument about whether Russians were able to secure a perimeter or not with your history lesson about Russian generals. I never denied they were lacking generals and that they are important because it's not the point of the discussion. I didn't expect you to miss the point from the very beginning, I'm sorry. FFS twister you idiot... i'm talking about command hierarchy! i don't care about ranks, General>officer in this way, General is the head of planning actions, officer executes it I think we're not talking about the same thing, or you didn't actually understand my last post and I can't help that. Either way it's not constructive, and I can't argue with you without you getting mad and throwing insults around, so I'm out. In: News |
Thread: Death of a Reich11 May 2013, 18:30 PM
Now you're telling me that generals plan how each of their squad, platoon, battalion etc. will secure their perimeter every time they have to, right? If so I corrected my previous post to make it clearer: So you seriously think that generals tell each of their platoon, battalion or division how to secure the perimeter every time they stop? Generals command armies, not single divisions. There's a hierarchy of command that makes that "routine" tasks such as securing the perimeter are planned, executed and supervised by other people, depending on the size of the unit. Officers are officers because they are able to make decisions and command smaller units on their own, without a general telling them what to do all the time. If not, I'm afraid that your posts make less sense than mine. In: News |

So you seriously think that generals go to the field and order each of their platoon, battalion or division to secure the perimeter every time they stop, and then check if it is well done? Barton: I'm glad you're good at history, but the point still stands that generals aren't responsible for scouting, something that Russians were actually pretty good at. Oh and just don't troll if you're not ready to hear what people have to say about it. Chillty, you're right. I don't think I can handle the kind of education you got and your fine arguments; I'll stop wasting my time now. In: News |

Barton, if I want history lessons I'll ask someone else than a failed troll spending his time miserably trying to get any form of attention on an internet forum. If you were as educated as you pretend to be, you would know that generals aren't responsible for securing a perimeter. Oh and the dark guy on every other COH2 poster is someone suspiciously looking like Gueorgui Joukov; I don't think it's because he was terrible at commanding, but you don't seem to know him anyway. Chillty, I've heard that "Come at me bro" thing from people thousands of kms away many times already, so unless you're willing to travel you better shut up and and respect the badge that you've been given. Knew you weren't educated enough to back that up with something more than a smiley. And there's nothing to argue with tbh, everyone knows already that you just have to be dumb to put that kind of remark in what you want to be a proper argument. In: News |
