Just as the title says. The MG42 gives Ost players a really big edge, especially in the early game. It's too easy to place an HMG or bunker near a fuel point or VP and lock it down until the opposing player can tech up or has a certain doctrine available.
Not really sure what's supposed to be done about this, since this is a direct parrel with history. But for the sake of balance a slight reduction in the MG's firing arc or suppression might would make fighting Ost players a little less punishing during the early and mid game.
