I would be surprised if Relic was doing this on a massive scale. Considering they just flew all of their staff to Europe to showcase CoH2 and other games at the PC gamer weekend.

The SEGA staff we all met and have been talking to since are all saying how impressed they are that Coh2 has doubled in size statistically this year etc...

I would be very.. very shocked if this was something serious.

You also forget you can only have 1 on the field at any time now...

My guess is that if you called one onto the field and it got destroyed immediately by some kind of bug you would at least be able to call in his replacement immediately provided you have been stacking up resources for the entire game

The problem with this is EU players messing up the true rankings of NA players relative to each other. If luvnest finishes 2nd, that's a spot of points that an NA player would have benefited from in the monthly final.

Restricitng everything makes the most sense

My vote behind the scenes was a full lock down too. This is not what I believed was the outcome of the decision last week however. To my knowledge Luvnest also played in NA this week so i'm a bit confused as to what's actually going on here.

What would be the point of having two seperate tournaments for both continents when NA can just be won by a EU player and vice versa? Takes away the whole logic of having cups for both NA and EU..

That's why we had the monthly cups region locked.

What i'm saying is that the weekly events are not locked to regions specifically. It helps to have good players playing in each of the tournaments.

ON that stream in question it was on Stormlesses stream - we did one giveaway for a raffle, one for stormlesses followers, and one for new youtube subscribers to me.

I think what Janne is trying to say is that people shouldn't be subscribing to our channel unless they really liked the content and this forces them to do so just to get a shot at some DLC they want. The Moobot raffles we've run so far are actually just the same where people 'have' to be a follower to win.

If i'm reviewing this comment objectively with regards to 'viewer satisfaction' I would actually agree with Janne here. I think it's acceptable to plug our own channels etc as this is a small token of thanks from Relic for doing what we are doing at the moment, but I actually agree that I don't think that forcing likes and follows is respectable.

If someone is viewing my channel for ESL but doesn't want to follow, they should still be entitled to win prizes. I think that's more respectable in hindsight and myself personally will keep that in mind for future raffles.

Don't take these comments personally GG & A_E as I don't think they are meant to defame any of us. The end point is that a point has been raised and we should decide where we stand on the issue. And looking back at if I was a viewer on a channel I wasn't following. I would not have respect for being forced into DLC follows
