Thread: Relic: No Japanese faction in CoH230 Mar 2015, 23:25 PM The japs wouldnt be a good addition to the coh2 for several reasons: they were completly different from the four other factions (few combined arms, heavy usage of ambush taktiks, suicide attack, etc). The military focus was more on navy battles than on big armoured vehicle assaults(although I want to see the yamato cruisin around in the volga ). They were experts in jungle skirmisches, camoflaging in bushes or surprise attacks, but they would lack in tanks for european battlefields. I can imagine them being an excellent and fun-to-play-faction that I'd actually love to see in action but they dont fit into coh2.maybe in a fourth coh or a seperate multiplayer. I dont think jap is racist. Some people might think its racist because its a bit sloppy probably overused. Its like "jude"(jew) in germany, many people think its racist but it actually depends on the context, could be said in a humiliating way or in a friendly/funny/normal/shortend/whatever way, the situation makes it racist. Well some people do argue, but I see your point about the senseless discussion. Still I dont think the pershing fit the usf playstyle. It is not the faction of heavies! In 2v2s and above it would, sorry, will be the only commander selected and even in 1v1s many people will just go for it. But relic gives a fuck about meta anyway so hey lets demand a pershing. Thread: Pershing in demand26 Mar 2015, 08:08 AM Why always the pershing?? I feel it is just because vcoh had it! As far as I know the pershing barely if ever saw any action. So why do people always want it? In a different pershing thread someone came up with the sherman jumbo and imo its the better altenative to the pershing! It fits the usf playstyle and design more than the pershing. It would be a damage sponge for your jacksons/m10s/atgs and deal a good amount of damage to infantry in return. What do you think? Gotta say that you float a shit ton of fuel unless you play hdk(the okw faction) though. Everything else: briliant! passchendaele map fits perfect. I recommend downloading ostheims ww1 trenches as well, fairly small and simple map but nice trench system and slow gameplay. hope to see more maps etc soon guys! In: News
Thread: Some help with Wehr in 1v116 Jan 2015, 23:50 PM Hey mate, i watch your first replay and my advise is to keep your troops together in the early game to outgun the rifles! Double grens make short work of rifles! Then i noticed that you cap enemy territory only nearest to your own points, on several occasions your pionier squad went south to cap the muni point. I'd recommend moving them straight to the cutoff as harassment! Your opponnent has to react to this to keep his income high, i think the fightingposition was a bit misplaced so you could have scouted the arc of fire and then move where it cant fire. I will go over the replay again tomorrow and will work out some other points but thats what i remember from watching it last night! Hope this helps you for now! In: Ostheer Strategies
