This fourth roll I need to do, I can't do because my stamina is too low, I wasn't really paying much attention...So I'll just go do some other bosses and get that up, even with no equipment can't keep the rolls going... Then I went to Tower of Flame and tried shield using, aha, I see your point Daniel. So I am good at dodging already, but there is one attack I can't seem to roll out of...Oh and 40% you say? This works 5 out of 6 times then he catches me on a downward diagonal slash. I give it one more try tomorrow, and hope I get a ballista kill, otherwise, GG WP Dark Souls II. In: Other Games
Thread: Map Balance17 May 2014, 06:01 AM I'm surprised no one else has mentioned Moscow before, but I agree. North cutoff is congested, with the fences creating horrible retreat pathing, and terrible LOS from the bushes. If south cutoff has a nice open area and a building, why can't north? Or give south the same horrible configuration of buildings and hedges to make it fair . Kharkov 2v2 is just an attack move blob fest, it's so narrow you can just forget ambushing or a surprise flank. Kharkov north is horrible for Ostheer in 1v1. Langres north is still just silly. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Poor MG42 vs Rich MaxPin!16 May 2014, 01:38 AM Maybe some old hands know better, but I think the vCOH MG42 performed better against blobs because of the way suppression worked...It had a much larger area of effect, so you couldn't easily run a blob at an MG42 no matter how many units you have. Units far away from the unit targeted but still in the arc might escape suppression but it was still a far larger area than in COH2. Over and over in COH2 I see blobs run at MG42 with only one or two units getting suppressed. The suppression area obviously doesn't work the same - units right next to the targeted unit may not get suppressed. Now I have no problem with a vastly superior force of units taking out an unsupported MG42 - even head on - my issue is with the suppression. In vCOH 4 blobbed rifles might still get the MG42 with just rifle fire before being pinned, and the same thing should happen in COH2. But they should all be getting suppressed. And the pinning should probably happen quicker as well. In: COH2 Balance

Try it, if you close to within a screen or less of your target and fire with good LOS, they are more devastating than ever.
