What is the most effective commander/BO/strat for US in a team game? Or are soviets simply better in every way? My usual 1v1 strat is nullified by multiple mg's/ overpoweredwagen pinning my rifles with no flanking routes.

I'm no strategist but when I play USF with my Soviet teammate(2v2), I go 3 rifles then upgrade nades. Don't be too aggressive and you will be fine. Use smoke nades to counter the MG/Kubelwagen. Obviously fire the smoke nade as close to the enemy as possible. If with AT then borrow your soviet teammate's hospital. To cheat a bit use the RE build tank trap around the kubel quickly to block it (credit to Romeo for introducing this cheesy way of stopping kubel.)

So basically all the Tiger doctrines? Hm. I dunno, the Tiger just doesn't really rock my boat, somehow.

I see, if that is the case then I recommend Close Air Support, Joint Operations, Osttruppen and Jaeger Infantry. I've tried all these with this strat and it works. Close Air Support complements this strat the best IMO. You get 1/2 StuG 3 Ausf. G or Panzer IV and use the planes to support them or like what my teammate did in the video I linked, no vehicles. Any vehicles/tanks to kill rely on panzerfaust, pak40 and Stuka 37mm cannon strafe. Pak43 and LeFH18 definitely work but they rarely come to play unless there's a heavy tank or you need counter-battery or even a tool to perform a siege. When it does, it's very exciting though. I usually only get 1-2 Osttruppen squad(s) if I go Osttruppen commander just to man team weapons and cap random places. I love using these guys to harass the enemy's cutoff. Also take note of the trench, useful for HMG42 and mortar crews. Jaeger Infantry is mainly for the G43 and ambush camouflage. From what I see at coh2-stat.com from the recent grenadiere accuracy nerf, G43 is an upgrade to dps at all ranges. This means that by getting it you don't sacrifice long range effectiveness. Make use of this. Camouflage is good for HMG42. I remember using the HMG42 with camouflage and loading it with AP incendiary then firing at the enemy at close range. The guy didn't have any chance to retreat.

I'm no expert but from what I can tell by looking:

Ausf. A - G Early:
1. Driver port on glacis removed.
2. Hull MG on glacis reworked.
3. Driver / Gunner hatch design reworked.
4. Squares and circles on the turret top (?).
5. Rear smaller exhaust panels.

G Early to G Late:
1. More squads and circles on the turret top (?).
2. Commander's copula simplified.
3. Slightly enlarged fan (rear)
4. Exhaust pipe covers added.

You forgot the gun mantlet changed in Panther G late. It has a 'chin' sticking out because the previously curved gun mantlet deflected shells downwards into the roof of the hull killing the driver.

These four doctrines will give you powerful units to fight anything the Allies can throw at you. My standard loadout is Spearhead, Jaeger Armour, Lightning War. By default I will go Spearhead. If fighting US Army then Lightning War for the G43. If I meet ISU then Jaeger Armour.

Thanks a lot for the feedback How about you make a guide for the US Army? I could really use some tips. I nearly lost to an Ostheer player who played poorly. I had total domination mid game and still nearly lost.
