That said, it still looks like I won't be seeing any Soviet doctrines other than Guard Motor anytime soon. Besides the increased fuel requirements to get the first t34/85 out, they're still gonna be unstoppable killing machines. Edit: It's the t4 structure they get built out of though, right? "Fun before balance" is an ephemeris concept that disappear at the moment we get use of the new meta and someone find a way to abuse it of its fun but unbalance aspect. Which at this time is not anymore fun at all. Yeah, I have to concur. At this point in time I would kill for any major variation to the game. The meta has drained the fun from it for me. Even if something else become OP, it would take a while before the majority realised it. People would just be having fun trying to work out new strategies/counters in the meantime. In: Lobby
Thread: Relic: June 23rd Update: About Balance23 Jun 2015, 04:26 AM Yeah, I think it would be great if the COH2 beta was an ongoing affair where balance fixes were just regularly rolled in. There'd be minimal risk in Relic experimenting then, but the widest array of testers possible. Maybe then we wouldn't see such long waiting periods. Instead it got used once and then abandoned, as far as I'm aware. Alpha could then remain for experimental overhauls. Also, Relic needs to start using Australian times so I don't get excited every time I think a patch is supposed to be out already In: Lobby
