As nice as a 980 is you'd get some stutter in almost any game if you ran 4xSSAA. I think AA settings are probably behind many of the performance differences that people report (on similar rigs). Please share your specs8 Dec 2015, 14:27 PM Based on specs and anandtech benchmarks you should be safe to go nVidia as long as you get a gtx970 at the least. Anything below that go AMD. I'm still running a 7970 from 2011 and like Katitof I don't have any understanding of what "poor optimization issues" are. Thread: New PC20 Oct 2015, 02:20 AM If you go low-end make sure you get AMD gpu. 270x is perfectly capable with coh2. nVidia is good only if you get 970, 980, 980ti and that's out of your budget. I would recommend saving more. It's true you can build a pc at a console price point, but the high-end experience is worth more than the extra $$ if you're using it every day. In: Hardware and Tech
