This post is mostly for bazookas, but panzershrecks need a bit of help too. So both have good penetration which is very nice, the only problem is that they do not do a whole lot of damage, and in the case of panzer grens can easily just be a liability.
The main part of this post goes to the American bazooka. So my reason for wanting a slight damage buff is that at 75 munitions a pop, even around 4 of them is not terribly scary, any early armor can easily kite out and come back to harass. You can never really secure kills with bazookas, and going bazookas into the major with the weapon rack system should be viable. My problem with them is that You still pretty much need the captain for AT guns at some point. I love everything in the lieutenant structure, but if there are any early armor you still need an AT gun which now you have to drop 80 fuel down on which puts you even further behind to get actual armor with the major.
Panzer shrecks need a bit of help too. For Ostheer the threat of loosing them to your opponent due to AOE out ways the want to get them, and for OKW having a slight damage boost would help a lot vs the US early AA truck, and a lot vs Soviet armor in general because you have to make use of P shrecks and little AT guns to deal with both T34s until you can afford armor. |
Use 50 cal, their DPS is not unbearable when they are suppressed |
Currently you can only attack ground against OKW's reinforced wire. If you have something with more than just small arms, I think you should be able to direct fire against it (which will make clearing it easier and less time consuming/ random). |
This guy got so upset when he put 0 effort into countering my Kubel, and this is why you have to deal with it. |
thats exactly why i call CoH2 the CoD of RTS genre, can you ever make a CoD fan like a skilled shooting game? no ofcourse not, CoD is alot easier to learn it has no complicated stuff and same goes about CoH2 vs CoH1, i loved CoH1 because you needed SKILL+ prediction + reaction to win a game or atleast survive. but in CoH2 build and click to attack that's all. the problem is people who started CoH by CoH2 will not understand this. developers make the game more easy so more people can learn and more people will buy. these days games are not made for special fans they are being made for everyone, just look around you CoH 2 is not the only one, same goes about battlefield series. you can't compare Battlefield 2 to Battlefield 3 or 4 or the news ones becuase skill is GONE in new games.
Coh 1 was not more complicated. There were still abuses that led to click to play. There was also that bridge problem that plagued the game most of its life time. |
My AT grenades for OKW and US do not work half of the time. Click the icon, the ability changes color as they do it, nothing happens. It does not always eat my munitions, but it is still utterly frustrating to not have them work. |
Well If you see Russian T1 you'l need the little AT gun and the kubel wagon like in the replay, M3s are nasty but you can mitigate what they do by using buildings effectively. Sniper teams are a little tricky to deal with, the Kubel does alright at pushing them away but you need a vehicle or the infantry gun to really do anything to them. G43s as a rule of thumb generally counters snipers. To counter T2 you for sure need the infantry gun. The flack truck is good at clearing maxims and just about any of your units can kill them with flanks. |
Nicely done! I'll probably give this a shot.
Would help if I knew more about how to react to what the enemy shows me. Any advice?
You'll have to be a little more specific. Do you mean first contact, Territory flashing, or general prediction?
Here is a general video/ guide that Hans made that should be helpful

cool. This will make playing OKW interesting..... maybe. They still steamroll anything late game...they gave OKW too much in my opinon. AT guns....shreks.... seems like they just stock up on AT, then ubersoldiers, then epic tanks...GG
Well late game is their strength, OKW does not necessarily steam roll everything late game. OKW is a faction defined by a hampered early game into an odd mid game. their super soldiers only really arrive if you let them, for example in a bad fight you have two options, Run right off the bat and save MP while denying XP or shooting it out, gleaning as much damage as you can before you retreat.
Volks grens are pretty awful, If you face a mob of shrecks then you can pretty much steam roll most of their infantry generally. |
Yea those vet 5 units OP lol. But in all seriousness Fusiliers are probably going to get nerfed in the near future. And soon, they will be the new meta when people's hard ons for Fallschrimes goes down |
