Thread: Worst balance ever . soviet domination9 Jun 2014, 15:16 PM No mirror units, that's just stupid. There are some minor balance issues that favor soviets in the current meta, but they are far from game breaking or stronger than the rng God. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: ISU meta game9 Jun 2014, 05:20 AM My guess is that it will be fixed in 15 days. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: M36 Jackson Unit Reveal7 Jun 2014, 05:32 AM Jump back to quoted post6 Jun 2014, 05:42 AM__deleted__ ..And I guess it's not the worst thing . Lol, even a pre-patch Panther (50 range) could have a serious problem with it. Actual Panther doesn't stand a chance. But maybe we should stop compare it to the Ostheer units. Anyway I think Ostheer will be overpassed by far and forgoten. Anyone playing with it will take a severe beating. Probably OKW will have more reliable units, though more expensive. Overall, probably meta will be favourable to USA (as it was in vCOH, what should we expect?) but it would be nice for the german faction to have a chance, even if this chance is smaller. Guess you haven't played the alpha if you really say that ostheer has no chance against the US forces. There are noticeable advantages on both sides and I have to admit there are hardly any major balance problems between the 4 factions. Btw. I played few games Ostheer to check the synergy with an OKW player and yet have to lose against the US forces. In: Lobby
Thread: Hands on Western Fronts Armies7 Jun 2014, 05:25 AM Jump back to quoted post7 Jun 2014, 04:49 AMMr. Someguy I'm still a bit annoyed there is no Panzer III's, which would make more sense than Panzer IV Ausf. F1's. There weren't many stubbies around because they'd been re-armed with KwK 40's, and the KwK 37's taken off them were put on Panzer III's to keep them semi-relevent as an Infantry Tank. Basically they should have used Panzer III Ausf. N's with KwK 37, not Panzer IV's. I heard that the Panzer IV Ausf. H's were doctrinal duel call-in. Since we didn't see that in the stream, it's safe to assume there are other Commanders out there. Where do you got the info that there's a F1? Haven't seen any pictures or videos about it. In: Lobby
Thread: Have been patient enough...where is our balance patch.16 May 2014, 13:34 PM I remember there was at once a hotfix for terminator pios and even the bunkers health was nerfed so a satchel could destroy it. Don't understand why they don't hotfix mines and the ISU. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Preorder Western Armies for 20% off. 9 May 2014, 18:51 PM Thanks for pointing out, although I think something like this should come from SEGA for people that own the game already. In: Lobby
Thread: Next patch ETA7 May 2014, 22:33 PM @Katitof The Elefant has to retreat as soon a zis Gun is charging, conscripts or rifle guards. I managed to take out several elefant just by pinning them with rifle guards and call in an IL-2 strike. You don't see that an Elefant just is the counter for one unit type, while the ISU is the counter for everything. While the Elefant can easily take out tanks he is unable to guard stars. The ISU on the other hand can be simply parked like a bus and shoot everything that is comming to capture the star, or trying to take it out. If you don't see the issue that a game shouldn't have a unit that is the counter to everything you are completely biased. It takes moreover the fun as you have now always to take the according to you "OP" Elefant commander just to be ensured to have a chance for victory. It amplifies boredom and takes out variety of the game, that is a great issue, the Elefant does not so therefore they are not comparable. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Next patch ETA6 May 2014, 10:08 AM Jump back to quoted post6 May 2014, 10:04 AMVetLolcake Everyone is now using thsi stupid fking combo is so fking noob easy mode It was always used and with scout cars + grens Ostheer has a viable counter. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Soviet TM 35 Mine30 Apr 2014, 08:18 AM Losing a full health squad for 30 munitions in the beginning of the game is a huge drawback. Relic should fix this asap. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: ISU-15226 Apr 2014, 19:48 PM As far as I can tell 3on3 games became boring because of the ISU Buff. Soviet players spam now every game ISUs while German counterspam elefants. The RNG gods decide who wins. In: COH2 Balance
